FEATURE | The Hand That Holds Our Pens: The Light Behind Our Pages
Some lives speak louder than words, but his road was never paved in gold. He spent year in the hum of a call center, and another in private classrooms, until he found his true calling. Now teaching for eight years in public schools, he now walks among the dreams of the children of Dalahican
Born October 29, 1995, Sir John Lester Guerrero carries a story as meaningful as the lessons he shares. As the Lighthouse's School Paper Adviser, he turns ink into purpose and whispers into voices ready to be heard.
Sir Lester chose to teach because of pne simple reason. With no grand speech, he says, "I simply want to inspire the young people of Dalahican, that even from a place that seems to hold no hope, success is still possible. Through hard work, patience, and a heart set on what you truly want to achieve."
He isn't just shaping sentences or refining paragraphs. He's showing us that our roots don't define our wings, that greatness begins where hope refuses to fade.
