🌿 Girl Scout Week kick- off celebration - Thanksgiving Mass and Escoda Ceremony

The LCNHS–Silangang Mayao Extension Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) proudly joined the Girl Scout Week Celebration 2026 and Escoda Ceremony held on September 20, 2026, at The Event Center, SM City Lucena.

With this year’s theme, “Lead On: Girl Scouts Carrying Our Legacy, Leading the Future,” we come together to honor the legacy of Josefa Llanes Escoda and the values she stood for—service, courage, leadership, and love for others. ⚜️💚

For the Girl Scouts of LCNHS–Silangang Mayao Extension, this celebration is more than an event. It is a reminder that every Girl Scout has a role to play in carrying the legacy forward and becoming a young leader who serves with purpose, leads with courage, and inspires others.

May we continue to carry the legacy, live the values, and lead the future. 🌱💚

✨ A Day of Remembrance, A Legacy of Leadership ✨🇵🇭

Noong Agosto 19, sa ganap na 1:00 PM, ginunita natin ang Manuel L. Quezon Day sa Ilayang Dupay—isang araw ng pagbibigay-pugay sa buhay, pamana, at pagmamahal sa bayan ng isa sa mga dakilang pinuno ng Pilipinas. 🌿🤍

Nakiisa sa makabuluhang pagdiriwang si Zyjaine A. Zeta, ang Chairperson ng GSP Silangan Mayao Extension, kasama ang Principal nasi Miss.Junet M.Lavarro ng kanilang paaralan at iba pang mga panauhin at kalahok.

Sa bawat paggunita sa ating kasaysayan, nawa’y patuloy nating dalhin ang diwa ng pagkakaisa, pagmamahal sa bayan, at paglilingkod. Sapagkat ang isang dakilang lider ay maaaring mawala, ngunit ang kanyang pamana ay mananatiling buhay sa puso ng bawat Pilipino. ✨

Every successful journey begins with leaders who are willing to serve with dedication, integrity, and compassion. Today, we proudly introduce our Girl Scout Officers for this school year,young women who have accepted the responsibility of leading with courage, confidence, and commitment.

These officers are more than just title holders; they are role models who inspire teamwork, encourage kindness, and promote the true values of Girl Scouting. As they take on this meaningful responsibility, may they continue to lead by example, support every Girl Scout, and create a positive environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.

We shared laughter and stories over a simple gathering, followed by a meaningful ceremony honoring Josefa Llanes Escoda. Each patrol proudly presented their lively yells, and the excitement continued with a fun and engaging quiz bee. 🌿📚

Beyond the activities, our greatest takeaway was learning the true essence of teamwork, generosity, respect, and love for one another — values that will surely guide us as Girl Scouts. 💚💛

Today, we celebrate Troop Leaders Day with deep gratitude and respect for our leaders who tirelessly guide, support, and inspire us in every step of our scouting journey.✨ We thank them for their patience, dedication, and sacrifices in shaping us into responsible, disciplined, and kind individuals. ✨Their leadership does not only teach us skills but also values that we will carry throughout our lives. ✨On this special day, we honor and appreciate their unwavering commitment, and we say a heartfelt thank you for being the light and strength of our troop.✨💚

We offered a short poem, and some also shared their talents in dancing and singing. ☘️✨We also gave heartfelt messages to our troop leaders and prepared simple gifts as appreciation for them.✨☘️

Each of the three patrols proudly presented their yells, filling the atmosphere with energy and spirit. ✨Afterwards, we joyfully held our Treasure Chest activity, where we shared treasured memories and meaningful experiences from our Girl Scouting journey.”💚
