✨ SSLG officers at Youth Convention 2026 | Lucena City

Last September 9, seven student leaders from SELG and SSLG of public and private schools in Lucena City attended the Youth Convention 2026 held at the Lucena City Convention Center from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The event was led by the Lucena Youth Development Office (LYDO) as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026. College students from the Dalubhasaan ng Lungsod ng Lucena (DLL) were also among the participants.

We had the opportunity to listen to inspiring speakers, including Mr. Amerson Aguinaldo who shared valuable insights on The purpose of youth and how they're different to each other, while Mr. Nestie Villaviray shared The Sytem: Youth Political Participation & Local Governance, and Senator Bam Aquino greeted maligayang linggo ng kabataan, respectively.

The experience gave our SSLG officers new insights that they can apply in leading their fellow students, making better decisions, and carrying out their responsibilities as student leaders.

Maligayang Araw ng mga Bayani! 🇵🇭

Congratulations to our three learners who have been chosen as the next beneficiaries of PROJECT SCHOOL SUPPLIES!
‎
‎Warmest congratulations to Samantha Gonzales (Grade 7), Mary Rose Ranido (Grade 8), and Fritz Manalo (Grade 9), who will receive school supplies until they complete Grade 10.
‎
‎This meaningful initiative would not be possible without the unwavering generosity of Mr. Wayne and Mrs. Lita McGirt. Your kindness and continued support make a lasting difference in the lives of our learners.
‎
‎Congratulations, learners! May this blessing inspire you to continue striving for excellence.
