The Kiwanis Club of Lucena Famous, under the leadership of President Arlizza Bajar, together with Sir Alvin Vergara, in coordination with ZSES’ Mary Ann S. Perlas, successfully conducted the Balik Eskwela, Balik Pag-asa outreach program on June 11, 2026.

Through their generosity and commitment, they were able to bring smiles and hope to young learners by distributing:

✅ School supplies to 35 indigent Grade 1 pupils
✅ 25 K-Kids of ZSES received 5 kilos of rice each

This initiative reflects their dedication to empowering children through education and extending a helping hand to families in need.

Thank you to everyone who made this meaningful activity possible. Together, we are building hope, inspiring dreams, and creating opportunities for a better tomorrow.

ZSES KICKS OFF BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026

Zaballero Subdivision Elementary School officially launched its Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program on June 1, 2026, marking the start of week-long preparations for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.
With the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman,” the program emphasized unity, volunteerism, and shared responsibility in creating a safe and conducive learning environment. The opening ceremony was attended by school personnel, parents, learners, and community stakeholders who pledged their support to the school throughout the academic year.
Following the ceremony, volunteers participated in classroom cleaning, repair of school furniture, landscaping, waste management, repainting, and campus beautification. Stakeholders also donated cleaning supplies, paint, gardening tools, and other resources.
The active involvement of community members showcased the Filipino bayanihan spirit and strengthened partnerships among stakeholders. School officials expressed gratitude to all volunteers and partners for helping to ensure a welcoming and learner-friendly environment for every child.
