SDO Lucena City through Curriculum Implementation Division - Learning Resources Management Section proudly launches the Division Storybook Writing Competition as part of our preparations for the prestigious Gawad Teodora Alonso 2025!

(Selected from both Main and Seasonal GTA Categories):
🔹 Chapter Books for Grades 7–10
🔹 Illustrated YA Literature
🔹 Comics inspired by DepEd Canon (e.g., Ibong Adarna, Noli Me Tangere)
🔹 Open Comics
🔹 Wordless Storybooks on Inclusion (Kindergarten)
🔹 Storybooks on GAD, DRRM, or Local Tangibles (Grades 1–6)
🔹 Stories from Education Leaders
🔹 Storybooks and Poetry by Young Writers (Grades 4–12)

📌 Who Can Join?
✅ Teaching and non-teaching personnel of DepEd
✅ Full-time teachers from non-DepEd basic education institutions
✅ Students from Grades 4–12 for youth categories
✅ Education leaders and PTA members for select categories

📋 GENERAL MECHANICS:
✔️ Entries must be original, unpublished, and free from AI or stock-generated content
✔️ Must be written in Filipino (except storybooks, which must be diglot: Filipino-English or Filipino-Mother Tongue)
✔️ Aligned with basic education curriculum competencies
✔️ Reflective of the overarching theme

🎨 You may submit as a writer, illustrator, or a writer-illustrator team.
