Flag Raising Ceremony Highlights Patriotism and Discipline

Grades 4, 5, and 6 learners actively participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony held on July 6, 2026, in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, as mandated by the Department of Education.

The activity was led by Grade Four Grade Leader Mary Jean S. Traquena with the assistance of Master Teacher I Marjorie A. Patal, Ph.D. Learners joined the ceremony with enthusiasm, demonstrating patriotism and respect for the national flag.

During the program, Dr. Carmelita C. Centeno, School Principal II, shared her β€œFood for Thought” focusing on the importance of discipline in achieving personal success and becoming responsible citizens. Dr. Centeno encouraged learners to practice self-discipline in their studies and daily lives as a foundation for excellence and good character.

The ceremony served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen learners’ sense of nationalism, civic responsibility, and commitment to positive values.
