Alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1041, s. 1997 at Panrehiyunal na Memorandum Blg. 475, s. 2026, nakikiisa ang Lucena West IV Elementary School sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 ngayong Agosto.

Layunin ng pagdiriwang na mapahalagahan, mapayaman, at magamit nang wasto ang Wikang Filipino, gayundin ang responsable at etikal na paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) bilang kasangkapan sa pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at pagpapalaganap ng kaalaman.

Bilang panimula sa pagdiriwang, sa pangunguna ng Punong G**o na si Gng. Enelyn H. Bayani, nakiisa ang mga g**o sa pagsusuot ng barong, Filipiniana, at mga katutubong kasuotan tuwing araw ng Lunes.

Sa simpleng paraan na ito, naipakikita ang pagmamahal sa Wikang Filipino, pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino, at pagmamalaki sa ating pagkakakilanlan.

Itinatampok ng tema ang paggamit ng Wikang Filipino at AI bilang mga kasangkapan sa pagkatuto at pananaliksik. Hinihikayat ang mga mag-aaral na gamitin ang teknolohiya nang responsable, mapanuri, at may pagpapahalaga sa sariling wika at kultura.

Sa pangunguna ni Gng. Enelyn H. Bayani, kasama ang mga g**o, patuloy na isusulong ng Lucena West IV Elementary School ang pagmamahal sa wika, kultura, at makabuluhang paggamit ng teknolohiya.

Lucena West IV Elementary School proudly extends its warmest congratulations to its distinguished awardees who were recognized during the Gawad Tala 2026 Awarding Ceremony, held on July 31, 2026, at SLASH Restaurant, Lucena City. The prestigious event honored teaching and non-teaching personnel for their unwavering commitment, exemplary performance, and dedicated years of service in the field of education.

The ceremony was successfully spearheaded by the WEDTAL President, Mrs. Reyce Babaran, a teacher of Lucena West IV Elementary School, whose leadership and dedication greatly contributed to the success of this meaningful celebration. Moreover, said ceremony was hosted by the ever-gorgeous and captivating teacher of the same school, Mrs. Rizza N. Villa.

Among those recognized were our remarkable service awardees who have devoted decades of their lives to public service and the betterment of education. Mrs. Loueline Balmaceda-Romasanta and Mrs. Corazon Alipio were honored for their 35 years of dedicated service, while Mrs. Enelyn Hermita Bayani, School Principal, received recognition for her 30 years of faithful and exemplary service. Their enduring commitment serves as an inspiration to the entire school community.

The school also takes pride in the achievements of Mrs. Rizza N. Villa, who was recognized as a Finalist in the Search for Outstanding Elementary Teacher, a testament to her passion, competence, and dedication to providing quality education to learners.

Adding to the school's accomplishments, Mrs. Kristine M. San Gil brought honor to Lucena West IV Elementary School after being awarded as the Outstanding Non-Teaching Personnel in West District of SDO Lucena City. This prestigious recognition reflects her exceptional work ethic, professionalism, and valuable contributions to the school and the educational community.

Look II Crafting Lesson Plans Based on the ILAW Framework and the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Teaching-Learning Process

First School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session | School Year 2026–2027

LUCENA CITY – Lucena West IV Elementary School successfully conducted its First School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) Session for School Year 2026–2027, bringing together teaching personnel in a meaningful professional learning activity focused on strengthening instructional planning and maximizing technology in education.

The session, entitled “Crafting Lesson Plans Based on the ILAW Framework and the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Teaching-Learning Process,” was conducted in reference to Department of Education Order No. 3, s. 2026, Annex, which provides the guidelines for the preparation and implementation of lesson plans using the ILAW Framework.

The activity formally commenced with the Opening Remarks delivered by Mrs. Enelyn H. Bayani, School Head of Lucena West IV Elementary School. In her message, she emphasized the importance of continuous professional growth among teachers and encouraged everyone to embrace innovative instructional approaches that promote quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education. She also highlighted the significance of integrating technology responsibly to meet the evolving needs of 21st-century learners.

Serving as the SLAC Facilitator, Dr. Mildred C. Aranas, Master Teacher II, expertly guided the participants through the salient features of the ILAW Framework, emphasizing its role in developing competency-based, engaging, and meaningful lesson plans. She provided practical demonstrations on aligning learning objectives, instructional strategies, assessment, and learning activities based on the framework prescribed by the Department of Education.

A significant portion of the session focused on the responsible and effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the teaching-learning process. Teachers explored how AI-powered tools can assist in lesson planning, instructional material development, assessment creation, classroom differentiation, and administrative tasks while ensuring that professional judgment, ethical standards, and learner needs remain at the center of instructional decision-making.

The collaborative discussions, workshops, and sharing of best practices enabled teachers to exchange ideas, refine their lesson-planning skills, and discover innovative ways to integrate AI into classroom instruction without compromising educational integrity.

The successful conduct of the First SLAC Session reaffirmed Lucena West IV Elementary School's commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in teaching. Through professional collaboration and capacity-building initiatives such as SLAC, the school continues to empower its educators to deliver responsive, relevant, and future-ready instruction for every Batang West IV.

READ II LWIVES Launches "Kultura ay Disiplina, Gawing Gawi ang Mabuti ng Batang Lucenahin" School-Based Habit Formation Program

Lucena City – In support of the School Division Office of Lucena City's initiative to strengthen values formation and bridge the gap between values education and learners' actual behavior, Lucena West IV Elementary School (LWIVES) officially launched the "Kultura ay Disiplina, Gawing Gawi ang Mabuti ng Batang Lucenahin: A School-Based Habit Formation Program" for School Year 2026–2027.

The program aims to cultivate disciplined, responsible, respectful, and values-oriented learners by developing positive habits that can be practiced consistently both inside and outside the classroom. It involves all learners from Kindergarten to Grade VI, together with their class advisers, in promoting good character and responsible citizenship through daily habit formation activities.

The initiative is spearheaded by Mrs. Enelyn H. Bayani, School Principal, in collaboration with Mrs. Corazon B. Alipio, GMRC Coordinator, and Mrs. Joannalyn J. Botor, Guidance Designate. Their collective leadership reflects the school's unwavering commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, nurturing, and learner-centered educational environment where good values are translated into everyday actions.

Prior to the official implementation, the school conducted a comprehensive planning session to identify common behavioral concerns among learners and determine the positive habits that require continuous reinforcement. This was followed by an orientation for teachers and stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of the program's objectives, implementation strategies, and expected outcomes.

As part of the program launch, meaningful classroom activities were conducted during the Opening Block from June 8 to June 11, 2026. Guided by their class advisers, learners actively participated in collaborative discussions and created their own Classroom Agreements. These agreements encouraged learners to take shared ownership of classroom expectations, practice positive behaviors, and uphold the core values they committed to throughout the school year.

The classroom agreements also served as a daily reminder of every learner's responsibility to demonstrate discipline, respect, honesty, kindness, and cooperation in school. Through this initiative, LWIVES hopes to strengthen a culture where good habits become lifelong practices that contribute to academic success and responsible citizenship.

READ II Lucena West IV ES Joins Nationwide Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony

Lucena West IV Elementary School proudly participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony held on July 6, 2026, at exactly 7:00 A.M., in support of the nationwide observance initiated by the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea (NTF-WPS).

The ceremony was facilitated by Mrs. Rizza N. Villa, Grade I Teacher, who led the program with solemnity and patriotism. Teachers, learners, school personnel, and stakeholders gathered together to honor the Philippine flag and reaffirm their love for the country.

This nationwide activity forms part of the whole-of-society commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, which will be observed on July 12, 2026. According to the memorandum addressed to the Department of Education, the simultaneous flag-raising ceremony aims to maximize the regular first Monday of the month flag ceremony by highlighting the significance of the 2016 Arbitral Award and the Philippine Government's commitment to upholding the rule of law.

In her inspirational message, School Head Mrs. Enelyn H. Bayani emphasized the importance of patriotism, unity, and respect for the country's sovereignty. She encouraged learners and school personnel to become responsible and informed citizens by understanding the value of national identity and the importance of safeguarding the nation's rights through peaceful and lawful means.
The activity served as a meaningful reminder that every Filipino, especially the youth, plays an essential role in fostering national pride, promoting peace, and supporting initiatives that strengthen love for the country.

Lucena West IV Elementary School Strengthens Disaster Preparedness

June 18, 2026 | 9:00 A.M.

Bilang pakikiisa sa programang pangkaligtasan ng bansa, matagumpay na isinagawa ng Lucena West IV Elementary School ang Second Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) noong Hunyo 18, 2026, ganap na ika-9:00 ng umaga.

Sa pangunguna ng masigasig na Punong-G**o na si Gng. Enelyn H. Bayani, aktibong nakilahok ang mga g**o, kawani, at mga mag-aaral sa isinagawang earthquake drill upang mapalawak ang kanilang kaalaman at kahandaan sa panahon ng lindol at iba pang sakuna.

Kasama rin sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng drill sina AO Kristine San Gil, School DRRM Coordinator, at Gng. Josephine Powell, School DRRM Focal Person, na nangasiwa sa maayos na implementasyon ng mga safety protocols at evacuation procedures.

Sa hudyat ng simulasyon ng lindol, agad na isinagawa ng mga kalahok ang wastong “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure. Matapos ang itinakdang oras ng pagyanig, maayos na lumikas ang lahat patungo sa mga itinakdang evacuation areas habang sinusunod ang mga alituntunin sa kaligtasan.

Layunin ng Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill na mapalakas ang kamalayan, kahandaan, at kakayahan ng bawat isa sa tamang pagtugon sakaling magkaroon ng tunay na lindol. Ang gawaing ito ay mahalagang bahagi ng patuloy na pagsusulong ng paaralan ng kultura ng kahandaan at kaligtasan para sa buong komunidad ng Lucena West IV Elementary School.

Sa pamamagitan ng sama-samang pakikilahok at kooperasyon ng lahat, muling pinatunayan ng Lucena West IV Elementary School ang kanilang matatag na paninindigan na ang kaligtasan at kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral at kawani ay nananatiling pangunahing prayoridad.
