𝗦𝗟𝗦𝗨, 𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗢𝗕 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Nakibahagi ang Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) Innovation and Technology Support Services Office (ITSSO) sa unang Fairness Opinion Board (FOB) Meeting na isinagawa sa pangunguna ng DOST CALABARZON upang isulong ang panukalang paglilisensya ng tatlong teknolohiyang binuo ng Unibersidad—“Mushroom Oat Cookies,” “Mushroom Chilli Garlic Sauce,” at “Mushroom Paste Candy” sa Ouan’s Worth Farm Resort.

Ang panukalang transaksiyong ito ay ikatlong licensing initiative ng SLSU na may kaugnayan sa mga mushroom technologies, na nagpapakita ng patuloy na interes ng mga industry adopter sa paggamit at komersyalisasyon ng mga research-based innovations ng SLSU. Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Ouan’s Worth Farm Resort, nagkakaroon ng panibagong pagkakataon na mapalawak ang market application ng mga teknolohiya sa pamamagitan ng bagong licensee at higit pang maisulong ang mga ito mula sa pananaliksik at intellectual property protection tungo sa tuloy-tuloy na paggamit at komersyalisasyon.

Dinaluhan ang pagpupulong ng isang panel ng mga eksperto na may kaalaman sa legal, pinansyal, at teknikal na pagsusuri. Nakatuon ang deliberations sa pagsusuri ng panukalang Technology Transfer Arrangement (TTA) at pagtukoy sa mga legal, pinansyal, teknikal, at commercialization considerations na kinakailangan para sa susunod na pag-isyu ng Fairness Opinion Report (FOR).

Pinangunahan ang delegasyon ng SLSU nina Engr. Mary Jane R. Villaverde, Technology Transfer Officer, at Dr. Renato R. Maaliw, Director ng ITSSO, na naglahad at nagbigay-linaw sa posisyon ng SLSU hinggil sa panukalang licensing arrangement at commercialization pathway ng tatlong mushroom-based technologies.

Samantala, kinatawan naman ng Ouan’s Worth Farm Resort sina Ms. Ma. Louchiel S. Labay, General Manager; Mr. Glenn S. Gabales, Farm Manager; at Mr. Marlon Mercadejas, Accounting Aide. Ang kanilang partisipasyon ay nagbigay sa Board ng pananaw mula sa operasyon at enterprise level hinggil sa posibleng adoption, production, at commercialization ng mga teknolohiya.

Dumalo rin ang Technology Transfer - Technical Working Group (TWG), kabilang na si Dr. Manilyn G. Zubieta na nagbigay ng suporta sa mga talakayan. Ang TT - TWG ang bumuo ng business plan para sa mga mushroom-based technologies, na nagsilbing mahalagang reference sa pagsusuri ng operational requirements, market direction, financial considerations, at commercialization potential ng panukalang licensing arrangement.

Ang aktibidad ay isa pang mahalagang hakbang sa patuloy na pagsisikap ng SLSU na maisulong ang technology commercialization, lalo na’t dumaraan sa licensing process ang mga mushroom technologies para sa ikatlong industry adopter. Ang patuloy na interes ng mga prospective licensee, gaya ng Ouan's ay nagpapakita ng potensiyal ng mga teknolohiyang binuo ng SLSU para sa mas malawak na paggamit at market application.

Sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtulungan sa DOST CALABARZON, industry partners, technical experts, at mga TT - TWG, patuloy na pinatitibay ng SLSU ang mga mekanismo nito para sa technology transfer at isinusulong ang responsable at sustainable na komersyalisasyon ng mga research-based innovations ng SLSU.

Mushroom production, at first glance, appears deceptively simple—substrates prepared, spores introduced, humidity controlled, and harvest cycles maintained. In practice, however, the difference between small-batch production and a stable, scalable enterprise lies in precision, consistency, and the ability to respond to constraints that emerge at every stage of the value chain.
