Teachers and learners will focus on the computation of grades, completion of school forms, culminating activities, interventions, remediation, and school-initiated programs. Please be guided by the assigned time schedules and activities.

CLASSES UPDATE | August 17, 2026

Following Memorandum Circular No. 127, alternative learning modes will be implemented for all levels in both public and private schools starting 12:00 noon today, August 17.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 17

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 127, government offices are directed to shift to appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces starting 12:00 noon on August 17, 2026:

๐Ÿ“ Zambales
๐Ÿ“ Bataan
๐Ÿ“ Bulacan
๐Ÿ“ Pampanga
๐Ÿ“ Tarlac
๐Ÿ“ Nueva Ecija
๐Ÿ“ Cavite
๐Ÿ“ Batangas
๐Ÿ“ Rizal
๐Ÿ“ Laguna
๐Ÿ“ Quezon
๐Ÿ“ Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
