Rejoice Cefizens! Let's give a big hand to our 32 passers in the February 2026 Licensure Examination for Criminologists, and to the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice which was hailed by the Professional Regulation Commission as among the Top 10 Performing Schools (with 30-50 examinees). CEFI registered a passing rate of 86.49% against the national average of 66.00%. Cheers!

Congratulations to our adopted community, Barangay Mayao Crossing, led by Barangay Captain Zosimo Macaraig, for being one of the Top 1 Best Barangays in the Balangay Barometer Report Card for February 2026! 🎉

Attention Cefizens!
Starting Monday next week (March 16, 2025), in response to the growing oil and energy crisis, CEFI is implementing a 4-day workweek for its non-teaching staff, simultaneous with the implementation of a flexible blended mode for classes from basic education to college. Through strategic rotation of staff duty hours, the offices of the Registrar, Accounting, and Guidance will still be available from Monday to Friday. The CEFI Community Extension Services proudly participated in the 1st Enverga University Sustainable Future Summit held on February 27, 2026, at the AEC Little Theatre, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable development. The summit featured experts and leaders from academia, government, and the private sector, all sharing insights on advancing sustainability. It provided a meaningful platform for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and stakeholders to collaborate in promoting sustainability both within the academe and the wider community.

In his talk, “Higher Education Institutions as Catalysts for Community-Based Sustainability,” Dr. Rogelio T. Galera, Jr., Director IV of the CHED Regional Office IV, highlighted three important pillars: Teaching as a Tool – TRANSFORM, Universities as RESEARCH Hubs, and PARTNERSHIPS as the key to community development. These pillars emphasize the role of HEIs in driving innovation, fostering collaboration, and creating a lasting impact in communities.

Together, we continue to champion sustainability through education, research, and meaningful partnerships.
