One System. One Dream. One Step. One Reach.
On June 30, 2026, a meaningful and forward-looking meeting was held between University of Santo Tomas Simbahayan Community Development Office, the Faculty of Arts and Letters, and the Lucena Diocesan Educational System to explore partnership and collaboration opportunities that will further strengthen Catholic education across all LUDES schools.
This collaborative initiative seeks to develop academic, cultural, research, creative writing, leadership, formation, and community engagement programs that will benefit the entire LUDES family. Through this partnership, school administrators will gain opportunities for leadership development, strategic collaboration, and institutional growth. Teaching personnel will benefit from professional development programs, research opportunities, academic exchanges, and innovative educational practices. Educational support personnel will be provided with capacity-building programs that will enhance their skills and effectiveness in service. Most importantly, students will have greater access to enriching learning experiences, leadership formation, creative and cultural programs, research opportunities, and holistic development grounded in faith and excellence.
The meeting was led by Prof. Froilan Alipao, Dr. Melanie Turingan-Marcos, Dr. Ederliza Magpantay, and Dr. Joselito De Los Reyes. Representing LUDES was Most Rev. Mel Rey M. Uy, D.D., together with the school principals and heads of the member schools.
As One System, LUDES continues to open new pathways of excellence, innovation, service, and evangelization. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to forming Christ-centered communities where faith and learning go hand in hand.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to UST Simbahayan Community Development Office and the Faculty of Arts and Letters for their trust, support, and dedication to the mission of Catholic education.
One System. One Dream. One Step. One Reach. Together, we shape minds, touch hearts, and transform lives for Christ and His Church.
