#𝘓𝘪𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺𝘜𝘱𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 | First Batch of Book Donations through the Dinsulan: Quezon Writers’ Workshop (Palihang Kalilayan) Extension Project

The SLSU Library extends its sincere gratitude to our generous donors Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF), Dr. Reuel M. Aguila, and Dr. Rom Peña of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines for sharing valuable books that will enrich the library’s collection and support the learning and research needs of the SLSU community.

This donation was made through the extension project Dinsulan: Quezon Writers’ Workshop (Palihang Kalilayan), led by Mr. Norman Vincent A. Paderes, College of Arts and Sciences Extension Coordinator and Project Leader, together with project proponents Asst. Prof. Joan Dizon and Mr. Alvin Ursua.

Our appreciation also goes to Dr. Shiela Manzanilla, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, for supporting initiatives that promote reading, literature, language, culture, and learning.

This is only the first batch of book donations made through the extension project, with more books and learning resources still to come from other partner institutions and organizations.

The SLSU Library is pleased to announce that tablets are now available for students and library users at the E-Library Section, 2nd Floor – Left Wing.

The tablets may be used for:

🔹 Browsing and information searching
🔹 Research activities and academic purposes

We encourage library users to make the most of these devices as additional tools to support their learning, research, and academic activities.

The SLSU Library is pleased to announce the trial access to EBSCO’s Filipino Studies Source, EBSCO’s newest database developed specifically to support Filipino researchers and academic institutions.

It provides access to scholarly journals, magazines, and other publications covering Philippine history, culture, language, politics, society, and related fields.
