Week 3 Reproductive System

Good day beautiful people of the universe. How are you all today? I hope you're all doing good and enjoying the cold weather with a hot cup of tea/coffee or warm hug. For this week we have the Reproductive System. Its main function is to produce egg and s***m cells. To transport and sustain these cells. And to nurture the developing offspring.

Do you know "Your period can actually affect the way your voice sounds. Say what?! Vaginal cells are quite similar to the cells in your larynx, and both sets of cells are affected by hormonal changes."

"Your uterus is home to the largest human cell in the entire body – the egg. It is the only cell that can be seen with the naked eye, and it’s responsible for the continuation of the human race. No big deal 😉 By contrast, the smallest human cell is a s***m cell"

Have fun learning!😉

WORLD AIDS DAY and HIV/AIDS Awareness Month

HATE THE DISEASE, NOT THE DISEASED.

"HIV does not make people dangerous to know, so you can shake their hands and give them a hug. Heaven knows they need it." - Princess Diana

Tandaan ang katagang "Prevention is better than cure, especially when something has no cure.".

Week 2 Digestive System

Good day beautiful people of the universe we are now on our week 2 of body systems disease and treatment series and now we are on the digestive system.

Digestive system serves the role of taking in nutrients, eliminating waste, and absorbing and using the nutrients we take in. While you may not think about your digestive system often, you are using it all the time.

Did you know? " The average person produces 2 pints of saliva every day. That is 32 ounces, or 2 cans of soda."

" You know those laundry detergents you hear advertised that have enzymes to remove stains? Some of those enzymes are the same as those found in your digestive system."

I hope you are all having a fun day. Keep on learning and smiling everyone. See you again next week for our next disease in the body system.

In celebration of World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (November 18-22), let Arshie Larga, a licensed pharmacist, explain the deep explanation on this matter.

Week 1 Circulatory System

Good day beautiful people of the universe we are welcoming you on our body systems disease and treatment series. Hope you are all having a good day and despite all the unfortunate circumstances I hope you all can still find happiness in every little things.

So here's our entry of the week. The first system that we will be tackling is the circulatory system. Did you know that the heart does not need a human body?

"This eerie pulsing occurs because the heart generates its own electrical impulses, which cause it to beat. As long as the heart continues to receive oxygen, it will keep going, even if separated from the rest of the body."
