At present, the Office of Instruction and the Quality Assurance Office share one page under the name “SLSU Office of the Director of Instruction and Quality Assurance.” While both offices work closely together in advancing academic excellence, they are separate offices under different clusters and respective Vice Presidents.

To better reflect our respective functions, responsibilities, and official activities, the existing page will henceforth be dedicated to the Office of Instruction, while the Quality Assurance Office will maintain and manage its own official page.

𝑺𝑳𝑺𝑼 𝑰𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒉𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑰𝑺𝑶 21001:2025 𝒔𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝑶𝑴𝑺 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈

Patuloy na pinatitibay ng Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) ang paghahatid ng de-kalidad na edukasyon bilang bahagi ng Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4): Quality Education sa pamamagitan ng Training on Educational Organization Management System (EOMS), na isinagawa bilang paghahanda ng Pamantasan sa paglipat mula sa ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) tungo sa ISO 21001:2025 Educational Organization Management System (EOMS).

Isinagawa ang dalawang araw na pagsasanay noong Agosto 5–6, 2026 sa 4th Floor, SLSU BRC, na dinaluhan ng mga Administrative Council Members (ADCOs) at Unit Heads. Layunin ng aktibidad na mapalawak ang kaalaman at kakayahan ng mga kinauukulang opisyal sa mga kinakailangan ng ISO 21001:2025 at sa epektibong pagpapatupad nito sa iba't ibang proseso ng Pamantasan.

Sinimulan ang unang araw ng pagsasanay sa registration at Opening Program na sinundan ng mensahe ni Dr. Frederick T. Villa, University President. Nagbigay naman si Mrs. Sylvia S. Palmero, ISO Management Representative, ng overview ng programa, habang ipinakilala ni Dr. Gillian Portia P. Dimaranan, Director ng Quality Assurance Office, ang resource person para sa pagsasanay.

Tinalakay sa pangunahing bahagi ng unang araw ang Appreciation Course on EOMS (Based on ISO 21001:2025) na pinangunahan ni Ms. Susan M. Soliven, Synergized Macro Solutions Inc. (SMS), Chairman of the Board and Lead Senior Consultant. Sinundan ito ng isang Training Workshop na pinangunahan nina Ms. Soliven at Ms. Maycel Ruth V. Muan, SMS Staff, na nagbigay-daan upang maisabuhay at mailapat ng mga kalahok ang mga konseptong tinalakay kaugnay ng EOMS.

Samantala, sa ikalawang araw, isinagawa ang Management Briefing on EOMS (Based on ISO 21001:2025) na muli ring pinangunahan ni Ms. Soliven. Nakatuon ang sesyon sa mas malalim na pag-unawa sa pamamahala at mga kinakailangan ng EOMS bilang paghahanda sa transition ng Pamantasan sa bagong pamantayan.

Isinara ang dalawang araw na aktibidad sa pamamagitan ng mensahe ni Dr. Juanita T. San Jose, IQA Lead Auditor, at closing remarks ni Dr. Arvin N. Natividad, Pangalawang Pangulo para sa Pagpapaunlad ng Institusyon at mga Ugnayang Panlabas.

Ang pagsasagawa ng EOMS training ay bahagi ng patuloy na pagsisikap ng SLSU na mapaigting ang institutional readiness, mapahusay ang mga prosesong pang-edukasyon, at matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagpapaunlad ng kalidad ng mga serbisyong pang-edukasyon ng Pamantasan. Sa pamamagitan ng pagpapalakas ng kakayahan ng mga opisyal at unit heads, layunin ng Pamantasan na maisulong ang maayos na pagpaplano, pagpapatupad, pagsubaybay, at dokumentasyon ng transition tungo sa ISO 21001:2025.

Bukod sa SDG 4, ang inisyatibong ito ay maiuugnay rin sa SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, partikular sa pagsusulong ng mahusay, responsable, at sistematikong pamamahala ng institusyon, at SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan ng iba't ibang opisina, yunit, at mga kinauukulang stakeholders ng Pamantasan sa pagpapatupad ng EOMS.

Sa ganitong paraan, hindi lamang nakatuon ang training sa compliance sa isang international standard, kundi nagsisilbi rin itong hakbang ng SLSU tungo sa mas mahusay na institutional governance, inter-unit collaboration, at patuloy na pagpapabuti ng kalidad ng mga serbisyong pang-edukasyon.

Muling pinagtibay ng Southern Luzon State University ang pangako nito sa pagbibigay ng de-kalidad na edukasyon sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng 𝘼𝘼𝘾𝘾𝙐𝙋 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙎𝙪𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙮 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩 para sa limang programang pang-akademiko mula 𝘼𝙜𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙤 3 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙜 7, 2026.

Isinagawa ang survey visit sa pangunguna ng mga kinatawan ng 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨, 𝙄𝙣𝙘. 𝙤 𝘼𝘼𝘾𝘾𝙐𝙋, katuwang ang pamunuan ng unibersidad, mga opisyal ng mga kampus at kolehiyo, mga accreditation counterpart, faculty member, kawani, mag-aaral, alumni, at iba pang stakeholder.

Pormal na binuksan ang gawain sa pamamagitan ng isang pambungad na programa noong Agosto 3, 2026. Dito ay binigyang-diin ng pamunuan ng unibersidad ang kahalagahan ng accreditation bilang isang mahalagang proseso upang masuri ang kalidad, kahandaan, at patuloy na pag-unlad ng mga programang iniaalok ng SLSU.

Sa loob ng limang araw, masusing sinuri ng mga accreditor ang mga dokumento, proseso, programa, at iba pang ebidensiyang inihanda ng bawat academic program. Nagsagawa rin ng mga panayam sa mga taga-pangulo ng programa at mga faculty member upang matukoy ang mga kalakasan ng bawat programa at ang mga larangang maaari pang pagbutihin.

Aktibong nakibahagi sa naturang pagsusuri ang SLSU Alabat Campus sa pamamagitan ng Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Computer Technology. Samantala, dalawang programa mula sa SLSU Catanauan Campus—ang Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at Bachelor of Elementary Education—ang nagpakita ng kanilang mga programa, serbisyo, at kontribusyon sa pagpapaunlad ng edukasyon at pamayanan.

Kasama rin sa mga sinuri ang Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology, na naglahad ng mga pamamaraan nito sa paghahanda ng mga mag-aaral para sa propesyon at serbisyong pangkalusugan. Ipinamalas naman ng Master of Arts in Psychology ang mga gawain at inisyatiba nito sa graduate education, pananaliksik, at paghahanda ng mga propesyonal sa larangan ng sikolohiya.

Naging posible ang maayos na pagsasagawa ng survey visit dahil sa sama-samang paghahanda at pakikiisa ng mga campus director, dean, program chairperson, faculty member, accreditation counterpart, area team leaders, technical personnel, mag-aaral, alumni, at stakeholder ng bawat programa.

Sa isinagawang pangwakas na programa, ibinahagi ng mga accreditor ang kanilang pangkalahatang impresyon, mahahalagang obserbasyon, at mga rekomendasyong magsisilbing gabay sa patuloy na pagpapaunlad ng limang programa. Ang mga puna at mungkahing ito ay mahalagang bahagi ng mga susunod na hakbang ng unibersidad tungo sa higit na mahusay, makabuluhan, at tumutugong serbisyong pang-akademiko.

Nagpahayag naman ng taos-pusong pasasalamat ang pamunuan ng Southern Luzon State University sa pangunguna ng 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙤 𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙏. 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖, 𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙡𝙤, 𝘿𝙧. 𝘿𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝘼. Pinasalamatan din ang lahat ng indibidwal at tanggapang naging bahagi ng paghahanda at matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng accreditation survey visit.

Higit pa sa pagtugon sa mga pamantayan, ang accreditation ay nagsisilbing pagkakataon upang higit pang mapalakas ang kultura ng kalidad, pananagutan, at patuloy na pagpapabuti sa buong unibersidad.

Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, patuloy na isinusulong ng Southern Luzon State University ang kahusayan sa pagtuturo, pananaliksik, ekstensyon, pamamahala, at paglilingkod sa mga mag-aaral at komunidad.

The Office of the Director of Instruction proudly congratulates the College of Administration, Business, Hospitality, and Accountancy (CABHA), SLSU Lucban Campus, for its commendable performance in the May 2026 Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination (CPALE), achieving an overall passing rate of 43.02%, surpassing the national passing rate of 30.83%.

Sa pagtatapos ng ating Institutional Accreditation proper, nais naming ipaabot ang aming taos-pusong pasasalamat sa bawat taong naging bahagi ng napakahalagang yugto na ito para sa ating institusyon.

Bagama’t wala pa ang opisyal na resulta, isa lang ang tiyak—ang bawat pagod, sakripisyo, puyat, oras, at dedikasyong inilaan ng bawat isa ay isa nang tagumpay na dapat ipagmalaki. Anuman ang maging resulta, ito ay magiging bunga ng sama-samang pagsisikap, pagkakaisa, at malasakit ng buong komunidad ng Southern Luzon State University.

Mula pa noong training noong 2024 hanggang sa walang humpay na preparation, pangangalap ng datos, pagbuo ng portfolios, mock accreditation, at countless meetings —maraming kamay at pusong nagtulungan upang maisakatuparan ang Institutional Accreditation na ito.

Taos-puso rin po naming ipinapahatid ang aming pasasalamat sa AACCUP Team Coordinator na si Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho, gayundin sa ating mga accreditors na sina Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, Dr. Arnel B. Millesca, Dr. Ronald Allan S. Mabunga, Prof. Roy J. Garbin, at Dr. Sanjay P. Claudio, sa kanilang oras, dedikasyon, mahahalagang insights, at paggabay upang lalo pang mapabuti ang kalidad ng serbisyo ng ating institusyon.

Taos-puso rin kaming nagpapasalamat sa ICO sa pangunguna ni Ms. April Arianne De Leon para sa walang sawang assistance sa pagcheck ng program, presentations, certificates, pagcover ng Institutional Accreditation activities, at sa pagproduce ng event highlights na tunay na nagsilbing alaala ng ating journey.

Maraming salamat din kay Dr. Janeth Anglo Lee para sa venue at sa lahat ng suportang ibinigay upang maging maayos at matagumpay ang ating mga gawain.

Sa mga nagprovide ng data at evidences, sa mga tumulong sa pagbuo at pag-aayos ng portfolios, sa Administrative Council na laging nakaagapay, sa lahat ng Area Leaders at Committee Members na walang sawang naglaan ng oras, sipag, tiyaga, at dedikasyon—kayo po ang naging puso ng buong undertaking na ito.

Sa ating mga staff at estudyante na naging bahagi rin ng hakbanging ito, maraming salamat po sa inyong suporta at pakikiisa.

At sa lahat ng mga tumulong, nagbigay ng oras, lakas, suporta, at panalangin ngunit hindi man namin mabanggit isa-isa—maraming maraming salamat po. Kulang man ang salitang “salamat” upang tumbasan ang lahat ng inyong ambag, hinding-hindi po ito malilimutan.

Ang Institutional Accreditation na ito ay hindi lamang tungkol sa resulta. Ito ay kwento ng pagkakaisa, malasakit, pagtutulungan, at dedikasyon ng bawat miyembro ng komunidad ng SLSU.

Anuman ang maging opisyal na resulta, panalo na tayo dahil pinatunayan nating kaya nating magsama-sama para sa iisang layunin.
