To answer FAQs and CARING TIPS:
1. Legit ba yan? Totoo ba yung bunga parang fake lang...
2. Gaano ba pwede lumaki yung bunga?
3. Paano naman sya alagaan?

Sharing some Pro Tips from our experience...

Giant Green Jujube (Taiwan, Thailand, India) it's the same variety... Since it does not have a obvious variation, It's just called Giant Green Jujube. Originated from India, cultivated well on Thailand and Taiwan. We have also native jujube here in the Phil. But our giant jujubes are just clone from the original plant that provided us with big and delicious fruits.

Some Pro tips:

1. Trunk size always dictates how many fruits it can support, it also dictates the size of the fruits. Big trunk also means big root ball. If your plants still has small trunk, fruit thinning can make your the fruits big... 3 pcs. max per fruiting branch.

2. Since they are soft wood they are vigorous growers and very prolific... so it means they are heavy feeder. Keep the soil moist at all times, apply enough organic compost, foliar and other fertilizers.

3. If you have a small seedling, don't force them to fruit... focus first on the health of the plant. That's their natural growing habit, to go big first... anyway, mabilis nman sila lumaki... :)

4. Just be carefull on applying pesticide though... Their pollinators are: wasp, flies, and other insects. Including ants, but ants bring aphids on the tree. That's why ants are no good... using a fruit net can also ensure you a good harvest. Gustong gusto din ng mga fruit flies ang jujube.

5. Jujubes are best in containers for 2-3 years only. Eventually, you need to plant them on the ground.

6. 1st fruiting season, no good... they will flower in the summer, comes the rainy season fruits tend to get rotten, unfortunately... :( They will flower again this Oct - Dec. This is the window that we might have a good crops.

7. When they have fruit sets, if possible, do not give fertilizer, esp. High in Nitrogen... it will trigger the growth hormone, and they will drop the fruits.

Note: (IMPORTANT)

*Remove suckers, any growth from the grafted union going to the roots.

*Remove grafting tape once planted in the ground
