In view of the latest Memorandum Circular No. 123 released tonight by the Office of the President, and in consideration of the current situation affecting our community, please be informed that face-to-face classes are hereby suspended.

In line with this directive and to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners and personnel, our school will shift to the HINGA Learning Modality effective immediately.

Under HINGA (The Check-In), the focus is on the well-being of learners and teachers as well.

📌 Important Reminders for Students:

- Please stay connected and check in with your teachers for attendance and well-being monitoring.
- There will be NO learning activities or academic tasks to be accomplished during this time.
- Take this opportunity to rest, stay safe, and attend to your personal and family needs.

📢 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

In view of the RED Rainfall Warning Advisory issued by VISAYAS PAGASA Regional Services Division, and pursuant to the latest guidelines of the Department of Education under DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026 (Learning Continuity in Emergencies), Stella Maris School hereby adopts the HINTO (Stop) Learning Modality effective immediately.

Under the 4H Framework (Hayo, Hinay, Hinga, Hinto), HINTO is implemented when situations pose danger and when safety and basic needs are at risk, requiring the temporary suspension of academic activities.

Learning Modality: HINTO (Temporary Suspension of Classes)
Reason: RED Rainfall Warning (Severe Weather Condition)
Coverage: All levels

📌 Important Reminders:

- All classes and academic requirements are temporarily suspended.
- Learners, parents, and personnel are advised to prioritize safety and basic needs.

STELLA MARIS SCHOOL, INC.
HINAY: Learning Continuity Plan

Dear Parents, Students, and School Personnel,

Pursuant to the memorandum issued by the Department of Education (DepEd) regarding the continuity of learning during inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances, Stella Maris School, Inc. is implementing the HINAY Learning Continuity Plan. No Face to Face Classes.

HINAY (Ease-in Learning) is a temporary learning modality designed to ensure the safety, well-being, and continuous education of every learner. Under this plan, the school may adopt the following measures:

- Implementation of asynchronous and online learning activities;
- Distribution of learning modules and other instructional materials; and
- Continuous communication among teachers, students, and parents.

All members of the school community are encouraged to regularly monitor the official announcements of the school for further updates and specific instructions.

Let us continue to uphold safety, solidarity, and our commitment to learning despite any challenges that may arise.
