NATIONAL TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
October 5, 2026

"AN EXECUTIVE ORDER DECLARING THE SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LUBANG ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2026, IN HONOR AND CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL TEACHERS’ DAY"

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 10743 formally declares the Fifth Day of October of every year as "National Teachers' Day," recognizing the vital role, devotion, and invaluable contribution of teachers in educating and nurturing the youth toward nation-building;

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 242, Series of 2011, designates the period from September 5 to October 5 of every year as "National Teachers' Month," culminating in the grand celebration of World Teachers' Day on October 5;

WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Lubang profoundly recognizes the extraordinary dedication, selfless service, and relentless commitment of educators across all institutions in shaping the character, mind, and future of our citizens;

WHEREAS, providing a dedicated time free from academic constraints allows our educators to fully participate, relax, and celebrate their noble profession alongside their peers, families, and the community without compromising their duties to their students;

WHEREAS, suspending classes on this momentous day allows students, school administrators, and the entire community of Lubang to actively extend their utmost gratitude, recognition, and honor to our beloved teachers;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, HON. MICHAEL LIM ORAYANI, Municipal Mayor of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order and decree the following:

SECTION 1. SUSPENSION OF CLASSES. Classes in all levels, both public and private schools, within the territorial jurisdiction of the Municipality of Lubang are hereby SUSPENDED on Monday, October 5, 2026, to give way to the celebration of National Teachers’ Day.

SECTION 2. RECOGNITION AND CELEBRATION. All school administrators, local government units, civic organizations, and community members are encouraged to conduct activities, express appreciation, and join in honoring our educators for their noble service and contributions to society.

SECTION 3. SEPARABILITY CLAUSE. If any provision of this Executive Order is declared invalid or unconstitutional, the remaining provisions not affected thereby shall continue to be in full force and effect.

SECTION 4. REPEALING CLAUSE. All executive orders, issuances, rules, and regulations or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions of this Order are hereby repealed, revoked, or modified accordingly.

SECTION 5. EFFECTIVITY. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.

DONE this 4th day of October 2026 at the Office of the Municipal Mayor, Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines.

Hindi man tayo nakapag-uwi ng tropeyo, ginawa naman natin ang ating best para manalo. Mas gagalingan na lang natin sa susunod na District Meet.

Lubos po ang aming pasasalamat sa lahat ng naging parte sa ginanap na District Meet noong September 7-9 sa LVHS.

Salamat po sa mga sponsors na nagbahagi ng kanilang blessing para sa aming mga players. Sa mga pagkain ( merienda am at pm, lunch) , inumin tulad ng gatorade at pocari, trays of egg, vegetables, bigas and cash.

Maraming salamat din po sa aming GPTA officers sa suporta sa aming mga players . Physical and financial po.

Maraming salamat din po sa mga parents ng aming mga players sa pag- aasikaso ng aming mga pagkain at pagpapakain sa amin.

Salamat din po sa nagluto ng aming food. Ate Sally at Ate Marlene at sa tumulong din po sa kanila.

Salamat din po sa service para madala ng maayos ang food from LIS to LVHS Ma'am Irene Tanaliga
