📌L*l-luno National High School proudly congratulated the newly elected officers of the Student Supreme Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) as they officially took their oath of office on wednesday right after the flag ceremony. It was spearheaded by Sir Lester G. Viernes, our School Head. The ceremony marked the beginning of their commitment to serve with integrity, responsibility, and dedication in promoting leadership, discipline, and environmental stewardship within the school community. May their terms be guided by unity, excellence, and a sincere passion for service.

📌L*l-luno National High School successfully conducted the campaign rally for the Student Supreme Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) election on monday (february 09,2026). The event served as a platform for student leaders to present their advocacies, promote responsible leadership, and encourage active participation among learners. It highlighted unity, commitment, and shared responsibility in building a progressive, safe, and environmentally conscious school community.

Grade 12 students successfully conducted their Research Proposal Defense, showcasing their readiness for rigorous academic inquiry and their ability to present well-structured research plans. The activity served as a culminating requirement in the initial phase of their research journey, allowing them to articulate their research problems, methodologies, significance, and expected outcomes before a panel of evaluators.

During the defense, each group presented a comprehensive overview of their proposed study, highlighting the relevance of their chosen topic to current societal, educational, or community issues. Students demonstrated clarity in discussing the scope and limitations of their study, the rationale behind their research design, and the feasibility of their data-gathering procedures.

Panel members provided constructive feedback aimed at strengthening the students’ research frameworks. This included recommendations on refining research questions, improving methodological alignment, enhancing literature support, and ensuring ethical considerations. Students were able to respond to questions with confidence, showing their understanding of the fundamental principles of research.

Overall, the proposal defense showcased the learners’ critical thinking, communication skills, teamwork, and academic maturity. With the successful completion of this stage, students are now equipped to proceed to data collection and further development of their research work.
