🌱𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 🌱

In observance of the 38th National Disaster Resilience Month, Agumanay Elementary School proudly joined the nationwide celebration anchored on the theme, “Naghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas,” in accordance with Executive Order No. 29, s. 2017 and Division Memorandum No. 316, s. 2026.

As one of its environmental initiatives, the school conducted a 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 with the active participation of the learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel of Agumanay Elementary School. United by a common purpose, the school community came together to plant trees that will help protect the environment, reduce disaster risks, and promote a healthier ecosystem.

More than simply planting seedlings, the activity symbolizes the school's commitment to fostering environmental awareness, encouraging volunteerism, and cultivating a culture of preparedness and resilience. Through collective action today, Agumanay Elementary School continues to contribute to a safer, greener, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

PMES Validation of Teachers' MOVs

As part of our commitment to ensuring fairness, accuracy, and quality in performance assessment, the Means of Verification (MOVs) of teachers, the PMES were presented and validated by Ma'am Florenda A. Ingo,Principal 1 and Ma'am Genevieve G. Patricio, Master Teacher II.

The activity was conducted after classes and it provided an opportunity to carefully review and verify the submitted documents, ensuring that all accomplishments and evidences were properly aligned with the prescribed performance indicators. Following the validation process, the PMES documents were endorsed and approved by Ma'am Ingo.

Thank you to our teachers for their diligence in preparing their MOVs and for their continued dedication to delivering quality education to our learners.

𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐋𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

As part of the implementation of DepEd's Student-Led School Watching and Hazard Mapping Program, the learners of Agumanay Elementary School actively participated in identifying potential hazards and assessing risk-prone areas within the school premises using their COCOMET. Guided by the principles of disaster preparedness, safety awareness, and risk reduction, the students conducted a systematic inspection of the school environment and documented their observations to help create a safer learning space.

This meaningful activity was conducted in collaboration with the School DRRM Coordinator, Ma'am Magdalena C. Alberto, who provided guidance and technical assistance throughout the process. Through this hands-on learning experience, the learners developed a deeper understanding of disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM), strengthened their sense of responsibility, and demonstrated active participation in promoting a culture of safety and preparedness within the school community.

Agumanay Elementary School successfully participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 18, strengthening the culture of preparedness and safety among learners, teachers, and school personnel.

The activity provided an opportunity to practice proper earthquake response procedures and raise awareness on the importance of disaster readiness. A notable feature of the drill was the use of our locally developed CoCoMet (Coconut Helmet), an innovative protective helmet made from coconut husk that highlights the practical use of indigenous materials for safety and disaster risk reduction.

Through active participation and innovation, Agumanay Elementary School remains committed to building a resilient and disaster-ready school community.

To ensure a smooth and informed start to School Year 2026–2027, Agumanay Elementary School conducted a Parents' Orientation, fostering collaboration among parents, teachers, and stakeholders in promoting quality education and learner well-being.

The activity served as an avenue to discuss important school policies, programs, and updates that will guide the implementation of classes throughout the school year. Parents were also oriented on key DepEd issuances, learner assessments, the 3-term academic structure, and the school's plans to ensure continuous and quality learning for all pupils.

The presentations were facilitated by Ma’am Marissa Segundo and Ma’am Angelica Pati, who shared valuable information and addressed parents' questions and concerns regarding the opening of classes and learner welfare.

The active participation and cooperation of parents reflected their commitment to working hand in hand with the school in creating a positive and supportive learning environment for every child.

As of June 11, 2026, Agumanay Elementary School has successfully carried out its Opening Block Activities, an important step in determining learners' current abilities and learning needs at the start of the school year.

The following assessments were administered to our learners:
