Agumanay Elementary School successfully conducted its PTA Meeting and Card Giving with the valuable presence of our School Principal, Mrs. Florenda A. Ingo, together with our dedicated teachers and supportive parents.

During the PTA meeting, important matters concerning the school were discussed, including updates on the status of ongoing and completed school projects, transparency on cash donations and other accumulated funds, their proper allocation, and plans and strategies for accomplishing the school’s remaining projects and priorities. This open communication strengthens our partnership and shared commitment toward providing a better learning environment for our learners.

The Card Giving also served as a meaningful opportunity for teachers and parents to discuss each learner’s academic progress, strengths, areas for improvement, and overall development. Through this parent-teacher dialogue, we continue to build a strong support system that puts every learner at the heart of our efforts.

On September 17, 2026, Agumanay Elementary School welcomed Florenda A. Ingo, School Head; Genevieve G. Patricio, Master Teacher; and Ma’am Josephine P. Batoon, Religion Teacher, for a meaningful day of school monitoring, technical assistance, and values formation.

The monitoring visit focused on reviewing the school’s ongoing programs, activities, and general school operations, as well as identifying areas where technical assistance and support were needed.

During the visit, the School Head and Master Teacher provided technical assistance to all teaching and non-teaching personnel, addressing concerns related to their respective duties, responsibilities, and school-based tasks. The activity also provided an opportunity for personnel to clarify concerns, receive guidance, and strengthen the implementation of various school programs and activities.

As part of the instructional supervision, a Classroom Observation was conducted for Ma’am Sheena Rose Ann U. Dumalanta. The classroom observation focused on the delivery of instruction, classroom management, learner engagement, and the use of appropriate teaching strategies. Feedback and technical assistance were provided to support the teacher’s continuous professional growth and improvement in instructional practices.

The school also appreciates Ma’am Josephine P. Batoon, Religion Teacher, who conducted a religious instruction session for the learners. The session centered on God, faith, and the importance of knowing and developing a relationship with God, while encouraging the learners to practice good values and demonstrate kindness, respect, love, and compassion toward others. The activity provided the learners with an opportunity to reflect on their faith and how positive values can be applied in their daily lives.

Overall, the activities conducted during the day provided meaningful support to both personnel and learners. The school monitoring and technical assistance strengthened school operations and instructional practices, while the religious instruction helped reinforce positive values and character development among the learners. Our heartfelt gratitude and warmest congratulations to Sachi Alleria Bladimyrhh B. Frio for proudly representing Agumanay Elementary School in the Sirib Abrenio Festival – Kiddie Festival: Nursery Recitation.

Your confidence, courage, and determination truly made us proud. Despite your young age, you showed that with preparation, dedication, and a brave heart, you can shine brightly on a big stage.

🚨 NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS SCHOOL SAFETY DRILL 2026 🚨

Agumanay Elementary School actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous School Safety Drill held on September 3, 2026.

The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness and awareness of learners and personnel in responding to possible emergency and active-threat situations. Through the drill, everyone practiced the proper protective actionsβ€”ALARM, SECURE, ACCOUNT, EVACUATE, and COMPLYβ€”while emphasizing the importance of staying calm, following instructions, and keeping everyone safe.

The activity provided an opportunity for our school community to practice, evaluate, and improve our safety procedures. More importantly, it reminded us that preparedness is a shared responsibility.

After careful consideration and in recognition of the need to safeguard the continuity of education, classes at all levels shall resume tomorrow, August 25, 2026. Government work shall likewise resume.

While the suspension of classes was necessary to ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and personnel, the prolonged disruption has also affected the continuity of learning. With due consideration of the prevailing conditions, it is now necessary to resume classes and government work, while remaining vigilant and guided by official safety advisories.

This decision was made after due consideration, striking a careful balance between public safety and the urgent need to continue the education of our learners and the delivery of essential government services.

Despite the rainy weather and class suspension, our dedicated teachers continue to reach out to our learners through home visits. They check their accomplished worksheets, provide guidance and encouragement, and distribute additional learning materials to help ensure that learning continues at home.

This is a true reflection of our teachers’ dedication going the extra mile so learning can continue beyond the classroom.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our parents and guardians for their valuable support and cooperation in helping our learners learn at home. 🀝🏑
