Our future Registered Agriculturists took a break from the books for a hands-on learning experience! 🌾🔬

Last August 25-26, AgLE 2026 Los Baños reviewees visited the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 (𝗡𝗖𝗣𝗖) and the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (𝗕𝗜𝗢𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛) at UPLB, getting an up-close look at the research and technologies shaping the future of Philippine agriculture.

From pest management innovations to biotech breakthroughs, this trip was all about connecting theory with real-world application and experiencing the field firsthand.

URC proudly launches the 2nd leg of 𝗨𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻, a special initiative designed to support and prepare our future professionals for their licensure examinations. 💚 This 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 is open to all students and graduates preparing for the following board exams:

✅ AgLE – Agriculturists Licensure Examination
✅ ABELE – Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers Licensure Examination
✅ ChLE – Chemists Licensure Examination
✅ PFLE – Professional Foresters Licensure Examination

This caravan is part of our mission to reach out, equip, and empower tomorrow’s leaders by providing accessible learning opportunities and quality review sessions. 📖

Upstep Review Center warmly congratulates one of our esteemed lecturers, 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗼, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿, on his election as the new 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗪𝗦𝗦𝗣)!

Joining him in this proud moment is our very own lecturer, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹 𝗩𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗥𝗔𝗴𝗿, who presented 3 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 on the Sustainable Management of Fall Armyworm during the 𝗣𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 (𝗣𝗠𝗖𝗣) 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 in General Santos City. The studies covered the baseline surveillance of alternative host w**d species, antifeedant potential of selected leguminous plants, and prevalence surveys of Fall Armyworm and other insects in Negros Island, Philippines, co-authored with Dr. Karen Alviar, Dr. Niña Dimaano, Mr. John Bethany Macasero, Ms. Ruby Ana Laude, Ms. Sophia Karina Genterola, Mr. Genesis Malabayabas, and Dr. Sheryl A. Yap.
