For Alexa, she wanted to meet new people who have their own exchange experiences and backgrounds. With the hope to gain new insights about the experiences and culture different from her, because of SExS-UP, she was able to interact with different new kinds of people that she wouldnโ€™t normally encounter in her everyday life โœจ

With this organization, she was able to appreciate a kind of cultural exchange that made her realize that there are so many more people to meet whose experiences are different from hers. Now, she is able to also guide people and share her stories with the hopes of spreading stories around the world!๐Ÿ’™

For Dave, the journey wasn't always easy. After feeling lost and unprepared during his first application, he tried again and joined SExS-UP to help him navigate the process. Through the guidance, encouragement, and experiences shared by our resident members and alumni, he found the support he needed to keep pursuing his exchange journey. ๐Ÿค

Now, on his way to Tokyo University of Agriculture for the Fall Semester, Dave gets to serve as a SExSie and help guide others who may feel just as lost as he once did ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Sometimes, you just need the right people to help you find your way ๐Ÿงญโœจ
