𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 • 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗣𝗠𝗲𝗱 • 𝗔𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗼 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿

Through the initiative of MGC New Life Christian Academy, Kailey Alyssa C. Chua became part of the group that enrolled in Brain Train’s review program. While in-house review sessions were held for students at MGC New Life, Kailey chose to attend her classes online.

The different setup did not make her experience any less engaging. The teachers’ stories, humor, and memorable techniques kept her attentive through morning, afternoon, and even evening sessions. What could have felt like long hours in front of a screen became an enjoyable classroom where she learned effectively through laughter.

Kailey complemented that positive review experience with her own intelligence, discipline, and hard work—leading to three exceptional achievements:

Being named among only 100 UP INTARMED candidates nationwide, earning the highly selective Ateneo Merit Scholarship, and passing the admissions process for UST’s accelerated medicine program reflect her outstanding performance in some of the country’s most competitive entrance examinations.

𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 & 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗣𝗠𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿

Brain Train taught Jamila Daphelene S. Aceveda techniques that helped her answer more efficiently, manage her time, and approach difficult questions with greater confidence. But Jamila understood that guidance from a review center was only one part of the journey.

She listened carefully, applied what she learned, and continued putting in the work even when preparing became exhausting or self-doubt began to creep in. Her own advice says it best: keep showing up, trust the work you are putting in, and remember that every hour spent preparing brings you closer to your goal.

Her efforts opened doors to two of the country’s most coveted accelerated medicine programs. Jamila was named one of only 100 UP INTARMED candidates nationwide and also passed the UST LEAPMed admissions process. Both distinctions reflect exceptional performance in highly competitive entrance examinations and placed a fast-track path to medicine within her reach at both UP and UST.

With two remarkable opportunities before her, Jamila ultimately chose to pursue UP INTARMED, beginning an accelerated journey toward becoming a physician.

𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Ronald Bryle L. Malicse began preparing early as part of Brain Train Lipa’s earliest review batch. He may have been quiet during class, but his focus never went unnoticed. He listened closely, remained engaged, and approached every lesson with purpose.

From the Pre-Test to the Final Simulation, Bryle found guidance and encouragement throughout his Brain Train review. The productive yet enjoyable discussions helped strengthen his preparation, while the clear and comprehensive Brain Train Review Manual became his trusted resource—even for those crucial last-minute recalls.

More importantly, the experience gave Bryle greater confidence as he prepared for the UPCAT and pursued an aspiration he has clearly set his heart on: becoming a physician.

Today, he stands among only 100 UP INTARMED candidates nationwide—a remarkable recognition and an important step in the highly competitive selection process.

Yda Celine Nuyles was part of the very first batch of the Brain Train Virtual Classroom (BTVC). Although she initially worried that the online setup might make it difficult for her to learn effectively, the experience turned out to be engaging, enjoyable, and ultimately rewarding.

The PSHS–Bicol Region Campus students brought a special energy to their virtual classes. they attended the online sessions together in one room in their dormitory, participated actively, and made the review more enjoyable—not only for themselves, but also for their teachers and classmates.

Yda balanced weekly review sessions with the demanding workload of a Pisay student. When her simulation results fell short of what she had hoped for, she did not allow disappointment to discourage her. She returned to her Brain Train manual, used the results to identify what she needed to improve, and turned them into motivation to work harder.

Her discipline and perseverance eventually led to two remarkable results: Yda was named one of only 100 UP INTARMED candidates nationwide and also passed the UST LEAPMed admissions process.

𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Julia began her college entrance test preparation early through an exclusive in-house review program for Philippine Science High School–Central Luzon Campus students, after the Pisay Clark PTA chose Brain Train as its review partner.

Even when the review classes kept her on campus until late in the evening, Julia remained fully immersed in the lessons. She also continued using her Brain Train review manual whenever she needed to recall a formula, refresh a concept, or practice answering under time pressure.

That early preparation, matched by her own ability and dedication, helped keep her steadily on course toward an exceptional achievement: being named one of only 100 UP INTARMED candidates nationwide.

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Princess Sharmaine A. Callueng of the University of the Philippines Integrated School began her CET preparation early, but what makes her story especially meaningful is how she learned to take greater ownership of her own preparation.

As Sharmaine shared, the review helped her become more organized, more responsible, and more resolute in studying. She learned to keep herself on track, build confidence, and face unfamiliar questions with greater resilience and flexibility.

That growth mattered just as much as the result itself. Sharmaine did not simply prepare for an exam—she became a more disciplined and self-directed student along the way.

In more ways than one, she got herself back on track, and that journey led her to qualify as a 2026 UP INTARMED Candidate.

𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 • 𝗩𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿

For Eizen Claye E. Revis of Philippine Science High School – Main Campus, returning to Brain Train for an important entrance exam was not something new.

He first reviewed with us in Grade 6 while preparing for the Philippine Science High School National Competitive Examination (PSHS-NCE). After successfully earning admission to Pisay, Eizen came back years later—this time to prepare for the college entrance tests.

And once again, that preparation led to remarkable results: Eizen qualified as a 2026 UP INTARMED Candidate and was among the awardees of the 2026 DLSU Vaugirard Scholarship.

As Eizen shared, the Brain Train advantage went beyond memorization. What mattered most was understanding the core concepts behind the lessons—knowledge he believes will continue to help him well into college.

UPCAT 2027 applicants who took the exam must update and fill out their Forms 1 and 2B online as soon as possible. Your name will only appear in your Grade 12 school’s Form 2A online portal after you click “Save Form 1.” Submission of Forms 1 and 2B must be done on or before 24 August 2026.

Access the applicant's portal at https://upcat2027online.up.edu.ph/

Certified true copies of Grades 8, 9, 10, and 11 grades must also be submitted to the UP Office of Admissions on or before 24 August 2026.

Failure to submit your online Form 2B and the required hard copy of your grades may result in your application not being processed.

Grade 12 school officials must also use the Form 2A online portal to update their school information and signatories, and confirm their Grade 12 students during the same period.

𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁: 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲

Gregory Maranan Jr. was part of the in-house Brain Train review at Philippine Science High School–Ilocos Region Campus—an initiative of the PSHS-IRC PTA, with the support of the school’s Guidance and Counseling Unit.

Although an unexpected hospitalization prevented Gregory from taking the Final Simulations, the preparation he had already completed—together with his strong academic foundation and determination—helped carry him toward two extraordinary achievements: becoming a 2026 UP INTARMED Candidate and the UPLB Rank 1 Incoming Freshman.
