Congratulations to our UP Rural High School Interns! 🏆🌾

The UPLB Rice Varietal Improvement Team (RVIT) would like to congratulate Nelson Dapal III, BS Agriculture major in Agronomy with specialization in Plant Breeding, for successfully defending his undergraduate thesis entitled: “Performance of Selected Rice Genotypes under Salinity Stress at Seedling Stage”

From preparing and defending the thesis outline last December 16, 2025 to optimizing the salinity screening protocol, conducting the experiment, gathering and analyzing data, and finally completing the thesis defense — your dedication, perseverance, and growth as a young researcher are truly commendable.

One final step remains — finishing the manuscript. Finish strong, Nelson! 💚🎉
