The UPLB Quality Assurance Office (QAO) brought together its College Quality Assurance Officers (CQAOs) and staff for its 2026 Strategic Planning Workshop to reflect on progress, align priorities, and map out the next steps for quality assurance at University of the Philippines Los Baños.

The team also discussed key insights from the recent AUN-QA Institutional Assessment and how these can translate into meaningful improvements across the University.

Since joining QAO as a 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 (𝗝𝗢𝗔) in 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮, Seah has been a vital part of our team and behind many of our major milestones. From driving data collection for the THE Impact Rankings to supporting AUN-QA programme and institutional assessments, producing media, and creating content across our platforms, her contributions have been essential to our office initiatives.

Her transition to ADAS II marks an exciting new chapter in her professional growth. In her new role, Seah will take on expanded responsibilities overseeing procurement processes and social media management. 📈

The University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) has earned the prestigious ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance Institutional Assessment (AUN-QA IA) Certification, becoming the first public university in the Philippines and the first constituent university of the University of the Philippines System to receive the distinction.

The certification recognizes UPLB’s commitment to excellence in institutional quality assurance, governance, research, extension, and academic service, affirming its adherence to international standards in higher education.
