Historic win for Villahermosa Elementary School!
VHES bagged 1st Runner-Up at the Quezon Day Drum & Lyre Competition 2026.

This is a huge milestone for the school as it was the very first time participating in Drum& Lyre competition, and as the sole representative of the Lopez East District Schools.

We want to sincerely thank our School Head, Margarita B. Segui, and our hardworking band advisers: Albert Jarel L. Adan, Liza C. Bate, Adelaida Dimatulac, and Veronica Masaganda. A special shoutout goes to our trainers, Jared Penez, Mark Ong, and AC Calvelo for their dedication and expertise. Special thanks also to Sir Christoper Olvina, who started it all. The band couldn't have done it without all of you.

To the parents and the entire Villahermosa ES community, thank you for your constant support. This may be our first time, but it definitely won't be our last. We will come back stronger!

Champions on the Court: Congratulations to our Villahermosa Elementary School Lawn Tennis Team!
The Villahermosa Elementary School community is bursting with pride as we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our student-athletes during the Palarong Pambayan in Lawn Tennis, held at Lopez National Comprehensive High School last July 18, 2026.
Our young tennis players showed incredible discipline, sportsmanship, and heart on the court. All their long hours of practice have truly paid off, and it is wonderful to see their dedication rewarded.
We proudly recognize the following students and their coaches for bringing honor to our school:
Boys Singles B Champion: Vash Argamosa
Boys Doubles Champions: Tristan Carl Caparros and Dexter Villasoto

With every beat of the drum and every note of the lyre, the **Villahermosa Elementary School (VHES) Drum & Lyre Band** proudly joined the **Parade of Delegates** during the **Palarong Pambayan 2026** in the **Municipality of Lopez, Province of Quezon**.

Sa diwa ng **pagkakaisa, pananagutan, at malasakit sa edukasyon**, matagumpay na naisagawa ang **Oath Taking and Induction Ceremony ng General Parents-Teachers Association (GPTA) Officers** ng **Villahermosa Elementary School**.

Ang panunumpa ng ating mga bagong halal na opisyal ay hindi lamang isang pormal na seremonya kundi isang taimtim na pangako na maging katuwang ng paaralan sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral tungo sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan. Sa pamamagitan ng aktibong pakikilahok ng mga magulang, g**o, at iba pang mga stakeholder, higit nating mapapalakas ang ugnayan ng tahanan at paaralan para sa kapakanan ng bawat batang Villahermosian.

As part of our commitment to ensuring a safe, secure, and disaster-resilient learning environment, Villahermosa Elementary School successfully conducted a Fire Safety Inspection with the assistance of FO2 Florido from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Municipality of Lopez.

The inspection focused on assessing the school's fire safety measures, emergency preparedness, and compliance with fire safety standards to protect our learners, personnel, and stakeholders. We extend our sincere gratitude to FO2 Florido and the BFP Lopez team for their guidance and support in promoting a culture of safety and preparedness within our school community.

The school year 2026–2027 officially begins as Villahermosa Elementary School warmly opens its doors to learners, parents, and stakeholders through the successful implementation of Oplan Balik Eskwela 2026.

With smiles, excitement, and renewed commitment, our teachers, school personnel, parents, and community partners joined hands to ensure a safe, orderly, and learner-friendly opening of classes. This milestone marks the beginning of another year filled with learning, growth, and opportunities for every child.

Thank you to all our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, stakeholders, and Brigada Heroes who contributed to making the opening of classes meaningful and successful. Together, we continue to uphold our shared commitment to providing quality education for all.
