Young Minds of LES Shine at the District Festival of Talents

August 15, 2016 — The recently concluded District Festival of Talents celebrated the creativity, intelligence, and remarkable talents of young learners as they showcased their skills in various competitions. Among the outstanding performers were Marc Yhudel M. Rosos and Nathan Andrei V. Verdera, who emerged as 1st Runner-Up in STEMazing Elementary, and Erich Mikaela Eunice M. Servan, who earned 1st Runner-Up in the Plot Twisting Challenge.

In the STEMazing Elementary competition, Marc Yhudel M. Rosos and Nathan Andrei V. Verdera demonstrated exceptional skills in solving challenging Mathematics and Science problems. Their strong analytical skills, teamwork, critical thinking, and ability to apply concepts under pressure enabled them to secure the prestigious 1st Runner-Up award. Their achievement reflects not only their individual talents but also their dedication to learning and their passion for STEM. Meanwhile, Erich Mikaela Eunice M. Servan, trained by Ma'am Mirasol Ortega Ronquillo captured attention in the Plot Twisting Challenge, where participants were challenged to demonstrate creativity, imagination, and storytelling skills. Her impressive performance and ability to develop an engaging and unexpected plot earned her the distinction of 1st Runner-Up.

These accomplishments are a testament to the learners' hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence. Their success also highlights the importance of providing learners with opportunities to discover, develop, and showcase their talents beyond the traditional classroom setting.

The District Festival of Talents was not only a competition but also a celebration of the diverse abilities of young learners. Our heartfelt congratulations to Jack Daniel A. Aguilar for being elected as President of the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) and to King Ian R. Vega for securing the position of Vice-President of the Youth Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism in Schools (YECS). Their remarkable achievement reflects their dedication, confidence, leadership skills, and commitment to becoming responsible and active young leaders.

SELG Pres. Frecks E. Guarte Unveils Programs and Vision for School Year 2026–2027

On June 10, 2026, the Su¬preme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) of Lala-guna 1 Elementary School successfully conducted the State of the Learner Address (SOLGA) for School Year 2026 –2027.

The activity was led by the SELG President, Frecks E. Guarte, and attended by school administrators, teach¬ers, learners, and stakehold¬ers. With the theme, “Nagkakaisang Mag-aaral: Malinis, Matapat, Masipag Magbasa, Makakalikasan, at Handang Magningning para sa Mas Maliwanag na Kinabu-kasan,” the address highlight¬ed the accomplishments, goals, and programs of the SELG aimed at promoting re¬sponsible leadership and ac¬tive learner participation.

During the address, President Guarte presented the major projects and initiatives of the organization. The CLAYGO (Clean As You Go) campaign was strengthened to promote cleanliness, discipline, and responsibility among learn¬ers. Project TORCH (Teach Our Pupils to be Responsible, Caring and Honest) contin¬ued to nurture positive val¬ues and good character among stu¬dents. The Project Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko served as the school's anti-bullying cam¬paign, encouraging respect, kindness, and a safe learning environment for all.

To support literacy develop¬ment, Project READ (Reading Buddy) was implemented to enhance reading skills and foster a love for reading through peer-assisted learn¬ing activities. Meanwhile, Project GREEN HEROES en¬couraged environmental awareness and active partici pation in maintaining a clean and green school community through tree planting, waste segregation, and other eco-friendly activities. The SELG also launched Project BRIGHT, a talent showcase program that pro¬vided learners with opportunities to develop and display their talents, creativity, and confidence.

President Guarte emphasized the importance of unity, cooperation, and active participation among learners in achieving the goals of the school and the SELG. He encouraged every student to become responsi¬ble, honest, environmentally conscious, and passionate readers who are ready to con¬tribute to a bright¬er fu¬ture. The SOLGA concluded successfully with a renewed commit¬ment from the learner body to sup¬port the school's programs and up¬hold the values embodied in the year's theme. The event served as an inspiration for all learners to work together in building a progressive, inclusive, and empowered school community.

MALIGAYANG PAGBABALIK SA PAARALAN!

Malugod naming tinatanggap ang lahat ng aming mga mag-aaral sa opisyal na pagbubukas ng klase para sa Taong Panuruan 2026–2027 sa Lalaguna I Elementary School!

Kasabay ng panibagong taon ng pag-aaral ay ang panibagong pagkakataon upang matuto, mangarap, at magtagumpay. Nawa’y maging makabuluhan, masaya, at puno ng inspirasyon ang bawat araw ng ating mga mag-aaral habang sama-sama nating hinuhubog ang kanilang kaalaman, kakayahan, at mabuting pagkatao.

Taos-puso rin kaming nagpapasalamat sa mga magulang, g**o, at mga katuwang ng paaralan na patuloy na sumusuporta sa edukasyon ng ating mga kabataan. Bagong taon ng pag-aaral, bagong simula!

Sama-sama tayong matuto, lumago, at magtagumpay!

BRIGADA HEROES SPOTTED!

Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating mga Brigada Eskwela Heroes na patuloy na nagpapakita ng malasakit at suporta sa ating paaralan.

Lubos po kaming nagpapasalamat kina Mr. Crizalde at Mrs. Marilyn Erasmo sa kanilang bukas-palad na donasyon ng mga kagamitang pampalakasan tulad ng badminton at chess board. Malaki ang maitutulong nito sa pagpapaunlad ng talento, disiplina, at kakayahan ng ating mga mag-aaral.

Gayundin, taus-puso rin po naming pinasasalamatan si Miss Virginia Micu sa kanyang pagkakaloob ng mga learning materials para sa piling mga mag-aaral ng Grade 3.

Ang inyong suporta ay nagbibigay inspirasyon sa aming mga mag-aaral na magpursige at magtagumpay sa kanilang pag-aaral.

Kayo po ay tunay na halimbawa ng diwa ng bayanihan at malasakit sa edukasyon.

Nagpapatuloy ang diwa ng bayanihan sa ikalawang araw ng Brigada Eskwela!

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa masigasig na BAKAP members, sa patuloy na suporta ng Sangguniang Barangay ng Brgy. Tocalin sa pangunguna ni Kapitana Julie Abelito, at sa aktibong pakikiisa ng mga magulang mula sa Baitang 2, Baitang 3, at Baitang 4. Malaki ang inyong ambag upang maging matagumpay at makabuluhan ang mga gawain sa araw na ito.

Sama-sama nating pinaghahandaan ang isang ligtas, malinis, at kaaya-ayang kapaligiran para sa ating mga mag-aaral.

Ipagpatuloy natin ang pagtutulungan para sa mas maayos na pagbubukas ng klase!
