Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na dedikasyon ng Pamantasang Normal ng Pilipinas Timog Luzon sa serbisyo publiko, muli nating naimbitahan ang Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG) para sa panibagong serye ng Serbisyo Caravan.

Halina't bumisita sa PNU South Luzon, Brgy. Magsaysay, Lopez, Quezon, sa darating na Setyembre 23, 2026, 9:00 AM hanggang 4:00 PM, para sa kanilang mga serbisyong dala.

Ang mga serbisyong ito ay bukas sa publiko. Gamitin ang pagkakataon upang mapakinabangan ang mga serbisyong mas pinalapit ng Pag-IBIG!

In recognition of his outstanding achievements in sports and his notable contributions to the development of national pride, the Philippine Normal University (PNU) has formally conferred the first-ever Doctor of Physical Education and Sports, Honoris Causa, to Hon. Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao, the newly minted Secretary and Lead Convenor of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) and boxing’s only eight-division world champion.

Considered a highly anticipated part of the 125th Anniversary celebration of the Opening of the Philippine Normal School (now PNU), the buzz surrounding the conferment rites brought together various stakeholders of the community, from members of the governing board to retired administrative employees. A localized drizzle prevented the ceremony from being held at the university’s quadrangle. However, it did not hinder the solemn conduct of the event yesterday, September 16, 2026, as it was moved to the equally historic Geronima T. Pecson Main Auditorium.

Ang Pamantasang Normal ng Pilipinas Timog Luzon ay malugod na napili ng PhilHealth Regional Office 4A, sa pamamagitan ng PhilHealth Gumaca, na maging katuwang para sa kanilang programang Yakap na Handog ng Pangulo sa Setyembre 14, 2026, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, sa ating Campus Gymnasium.

Sa pamamagitan ng programa, ang mga mamamayan ng Lopez at mga kalapit na bayan ay mabibigyan ng pagkakataon upang alamin kung paano makakatulong ang PhilHealth YAKAP sa pangangalaga ng kanilang kalusugan at kung papaano ito maaaring magamit.

Katuwang din ang Quezon Provincial Hospital Network-Magsaysay (Lopez) at ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Quezon, ang programa ay maghahatid rin ng libreng konsultasyon para sa mga mamamayang nangangailangan nito at ng pagkakataong makapagparehistro para sa National ID.

Ang programang ito ay bukas sa lahat ng nagnanais at nangangailangan nito. Kaya magkita-kita tayo sa Setyember 14, 2026 at gamitin ang pagkakataon para sa mas malapit at mas mabilis na serbisyong pangkulusugan!

Yet Pacquiao's contribution to Philippine sports is bigger than his victories. His greatest legacy lies in what his journey has come to represent: that excellence can emerge from humble beginnings, that circumstances need not dictate one's destiny, and that sports can become a powerful tool for personal transformation, social mobility, and national pride.

This is the kind of excellence that makes Pacquiao a fitting recipient of the Doctor in Physical Education (PE) and Sports, Honoris Causa, from the Philippine Normal University, the country’s National Center for Teacher Education.
