Villageda ES Promotes a Smoke-Free and Vape-Free School Environment
Empowering Learners Through Awareness and Prevention
In support of Division Memorandum No. 0508, s. 2026, Villageda Elementary School successfully conducted a school-based advocacy activity promoting a 100% Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Learning Environment.
The activity aimed to increase learners' awareness of the harmful effects of to***co and v**e products while exposing the deceptive marketing strategies used by the to***co industry to attract young people.
Through an informative classroom discussions, learners gained valuable knowledge about the health risks associated with smoking and va**ng, the dangers of ni****ne addiction, and the importance of making healthy, informed choices. The activity also reinforced the shared responsibility of learners, teachers, parents, and the community in maintaining a safe, healthy, and smoke-free school environment.
Villageda Elementary School remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting health education and fostering a culture of wellness by empowering every learner to become an advocate for a to***co-free and v**e-free future.
