📖 Villageda Elementary School Celebrates National Reading Month and Children’s Month – November 28, 2025

Villageda ES proudly held a special celebration today, November 28, 2025, honoring both National Reading Month and Children’s Month. The program was divided into two exciting parts, bringing together learning, fun, and creativity for all students.

The celebration began with the National Reading Month segment, highlighting the joy of storytelling. Grade 4 pupil Ayanah Diosay and Grade 5 pupil Brianna Mervie Dañas captivated the audience with their storytelling skills, inspiring their fellow students to explore the magic of books. Adding to the excitement, Ma’am Aileen Judavar also shared an engaging story that encouraged everyone to read and imagine.

Following the reading activities, the program shifted to the Children’s Month Celebration. The students enjoyed a series of fun and interactive games prepared by their teachers. Laughter and excitement filled the school grounds as the pupils participated wholeheartedly. Winners of each game were awarded special prizes, adding extra joy to the celebration.

The dual celebration not only highlighted the importance of reading but also emphasized the value of play, creativity, and the happiness of every child. Villageda Elementary School continues to nurture well-rounded learners who love to read, play, and grow together.

📍Villageda Elementary School Conducts Search for Ms. SPTA Ambassador 2025

Villageda ES proudly held its much-anticipated Search for Ms. SPTA Ambassador 2025 on November 14, 2025, gathering pupils, parents, teachers, and community members for a celebration of confidence, talent, and leadership.

The event aimed to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents through the SPTA (School Parent-Teacher Association) by showcasing representatives who embody grace, intelligence, and active school involvement. Each candidate presented herself with poise during the production number, casual wear walk, summer wear, sports wear and talent portion, highlighting the values of empowerment, responsibility, and school pride.

A warm and sincere thank you to Sir Herbert Olanda, Ma’am Maryjane Gonzalvo, and Ma’am Erika Serdone for generously sharing their time, expertise, and support in selecting this year’s deserving winners. Their encouraging words and thoughtful insights made the event more meaningful and memorable.

The Search for Ms. SPTA Ambassador 2025 concluded with the announcement of winners and the recognition of special awards, making the day memorable for the entire school community.

📰 Villageda Elementary School Conducts 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill ⛑️

Villageda ES actively participated in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on November 6, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure that pupils, teachers, and staff are equipped with proper knowledge and skills during an earthquake.

At the sound of the alarm, everyone promptly executed the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure, followed by a safe and orderly evacuation to the designated area. Teachers guided learners throughout the drill, emphasizing the importance of calmness and discipline during emergencies.

The Girl Scouts of Villageda ES proudly participated in the District Junior Encampment 2025 held on October 25–26, 2025 at Don Emilio Salumbides Elementary School, with the inspiring theme “85 Years of Girl Empowerment and Scouting Excellence.”

The two-day encampment provided meaningful activities that strengthened camaraderie, leadership, and life skills among young scouts. Villageda ES Girl Scouts showcased their enthusiasm, teamwork, and commitment to the ideals of Girl Scouting, truly embodying the spirit of empowerment and excellence.
