📌 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗡𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥 10–11 𝗔𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗨𝗠 𝗖𝗜𝗥𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗡𝗢. 𝟭𝟬𝟲

In adherence to Memorandum Circular No. 106 issued by the Office of the President – Malacañang, and upon the directive of Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus, Jr., the Municipality of Loon formally declares the suspension of classes in all levels, both public and private, on November 10 and 11, 2025. This directive aligns with the national order suspending classes across Regions VI and VII due to the severe and wide-reaching impacts of Super Typhoon Uwan, which continues to pose threats to safety, mobility, and essential services.

Super Typhoon Uwan has brought hazardous weather conditions, including destructive winds, heavy rainfall, and potential flooding, prompting national and local leaders to take preventive measures to safeguard communities. In Loon, the Local Government is intensifying monitoring efforts, coordinating with barangay officials, and preparing for potential emergency responses as the typhoon’s track remains dynamic and its effects continue to be felt across the region.

The Local Government also notifies the public that the Work Suspension Advisory is yet to be issued. It will be disseminated separately as deemed necessary, depending on the evolving track, weather developments, and localized conditions that may warrant additional protective measures.

The safety of students, teachers, school personnel, and the entire community remains the foremost priority of the Municipal Government. All Loonanons are urged to remain vigilant, secure their homes, avoid unnecessary travel, and stay tuned to official advisories from the Local Government and national agencies.

By the order of Municipal Mayor Pedro “Dodong” M. Literatus, Jr., classes in all levels, both public and private, in the Municipality of Loon are hereby suspended tomorrow, November 5, 2025.

This precautionary measure is issued to safeguard the welfare of students, teachers, and school personnel amid the ongoing effects of Typhoon Tino, and to allow time for necessary clearing and recovery operations across affected areas.

Alternative Modes of Learning—including synchronous and asynchronous online classes as well as modular learning—are highly encouraged and shall be implemented as applicable to minimize exposure and ensure learning continuity.

The Local Government of Loon urges everyone to stay safe, remain alert, and continue monitoring official announcements for further updates.
