📢 CDL SCHOLARSHIP UPDATE | AY 2026–2027

To all our CDL Scholarship Applicants, we understand how eagerly everyone is waiting for the final list of qualified scholars. We would like to provide the following important updates regarding the status of the scholarship applications:

1. As per the latest information from the CHED Supervisor-In-Charge (SIC) of perusing/reviewing our compliance, the CHED Review Committee convened today for the final review of the submitted documents.

This means that the documents submitted by Colegio de Loon are now undergoing the final review and evaluation by the concerned CHED Review Committee. The College is closely monitoring the progress of the review and will continue to coordinate with CHED regarding the status of our compliance and the scholarship evaluation.

2. The List of LGU Qualified Scholars is currently pending approval by the Honorable Mayor Cesar Tomas M. Lopez, MD pursuant to the authority granted by the 16th Sangguniang Bayan (SB).

The approval is an important step before the official list can be released. Once the list receives the required approval:
➡️ The official list of LGU scholars will be released; and
➡️ The enrollment process for the approved scholars will follow.

We know that waiting for scholarship results can be both exciting and challenging, especially as the enrollment period approaches. Please be assured that Colegio de Loon is continuously coordinating with the appropriate agencies and offices to facilitate the completion of the process.

At this point, both scholarship processes are moving through their respective final review/approval stages. We kindly ask for your continued patience and understanding as we work toward the official release of the scholarship results.

🎓Building Transformative Educators for Academic Excellence✨

Colegio de Loon successfully conducted the “Faculty Development and Institutional Excellence Series (FDIES) with the theme, From Subject Expert to Transformative Educator.”

The training provided our faculty members with valuable insights on the College's Vision, Mission, Goals, and Outcomes (VMGO), the vital role of educators as institution builders, program orientation, and the principles of Outcomes-Based Education (OBE), including constructive alignment and the alignment of course and program outcomes.

This professional development initiative reinforces Colegio de Loon's commitment to developing competent, innovative, and transformative educators who are equipped to deliver quality instruction and uphold the institution's standards of excellence.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our resource speakers, Mr. Jose Randy Lupango and Dr. Evelyn Lupango, our Program head and also one of the Regional trainers of the Department of Tourism (DOT 7) for their shared commitment to continuous learning and institutional growth.

📢SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION UPDATE

To all CDL scholarship applicants for Academic Year 2026–2027, we would like to inform everyone that the consolidation and final evaluation of the CDL Admission Test results and Personal Interview assessments are still ongoing.

Our Admission Committee is carefully reviewing each applicant's credentials to ensure a fair, objective, and transparent selection process.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding while we complete the final screening. The official list of qualified scholarship recipients will be announced through the official Colegio de Loon FB page once the evaluation has been finalized.

📌 We encourage everyone to wait for the official announcement and refrain from relying on unofficial information or unverified posts.

✅Applicants who have NOT YET taken the CDL Admission Test are encouraged to complete the examination on or before July 3, 2026. This is the final day for admission testing.

✅ Applicants who have NOT YET undergone the scholarship interview are required to attend on:

🗓 July 6, 2026 (Monday)
🕙 10:00 AM ONLY
📍 CDL Board Room

✅Applicants with incomplete requirements, particularly those who have not yet submitted their School Card (Report Card), are requested to submit the document immediately to the CDL Registrar's Office.

These requirements are essential as the College will begin the final evaluation and ranking of scholarship applicants for Academic Year 2026–2027.

Failure to complete the admission test, interview, or documentary requirements within the prescribed schedule may affect your scholarship evaluation.

We encourage all applicants to complete these requirements on time to ensure their application is included in the final screening process.

📢 SCHOLARSHIP INTERVIEW REMINDERS

To all aspiring CDL Scholars who were unable to attend their scheduled Personal Interview, Colegio de Loon is pleased to provide you with another opportunity to complete this important phase of the scholarship application process.

📅 Interview Date: June 27, 2026
📍 Venue: CDL Board Room
🕘 Time: 8:00am-5:00pm

Applicants who missed their initial interview schedule are advised to join the Second Batch of Scholarship Interview on the said date.

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
✅ Bring a valid ID or any identification document.
✅ Submit your scholarship requirements to the Registrar's Office.
✅ Arrive on time and observe proper decorum throughout the interview process.

⚠️ Failure to attend may affect the evaluation of your scholarship application.

To all applicants who were unable to take the scheduled College Admission Test (CAT), Colegio de Loon is pleased to inform you that you still have the opportunity to complete the examination.

📅 Examination Period: Until July 3, 2026 only
🕘 Morning Schedule: 9:00 AM
🕐 Afternoon Schedule: 2:00 PM

📌 Please note:
✅ Examination schedules are available only during regular working days.
✅ No examinations will be conducted on holidays.
✅ Applicants must present their Valid ID or Examination Slip before taking the test.
✅ This extension is available only until July 3, 2026.

We encourage all remaining applicants to take advantage of this opportunity and complete the admission process within the prescribed period.
