SCIENCE DEPARTMENT’S CLASSROOM OBSERVATION
Sir Marlo successfully conducted his classroom observation, demonstrating energetic and engaging teaching practices.
He facilitated a lively and highly engaged class, encouraging active participation from the students throughout the lesson. He effectively integrated the topic with concepts from Grade 8 Science and related ideas in MAPEH, helping learners appreciate the connection of knowledge across subject areas.
Sir Marlo used picture analysis to stimulate students’ thinking and organized group activities that promoted collaboration, discussion, and shared learning. He also guided students in solving problems related to caloric requirements for different lifestyles and types of work, allowing them to apply the concept to real-life health and fitness situations.
The lesson further strengthened students’ understanding through problem-solving tasks and applications to real-life contexts. In addition, he incorporated physical activities, which kept students energized and actively involved in the learning process.
Congratulations, Sir Marlo, for delivering a dynamic, interactive, and meaningful learning experience!
