๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ 23, 2026 - Campus journalists representing their respective districts competed in the RACE-DSPC 2026 Elimination Round, simultaneously conducted today across five clusters in the province.

The competition was held at Alcantara National High School, Odiongan National High School, Magdiwang National High School, Corcuera Central Elementary School, and Romblon National High School, bringing together young journalists to showcase their skills in various campus journalism categories.

The elimination round tested participantsโ€™ abilities in writing, broadcasting, photojournalism, editorial cartooning, and other journalistic disciplines while promoting accuracy, creativity, critical thinking, and responsible journalism.

The top five contestants or teams in each category will advance to the Grand Finals in September, where they will compete for the opportunity to represent the Schools Division of Romblon at the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC).

Teachers and journalism coaches also provided guidance and support to the district representatives as they faced the challenges of their respective categories, encouraging them to uphold journalistic integrity and perform at their best.

The event highlighted the provinceโ€™s continuing efforts to develop young journalists and provide them with opportunities to inform, engage, and represent their respective districts on the road toward regional competition.
