Batangas State University Lobo Campus demonstrates its strong performance in agriculture education as it produces a national topnotcher in the November 2025 Agriculturists Licensure Examination. A graduate of the BS Agriculture program, Gwyneth G. Villarin secured 3rd place nationwide with an impressive 91.52% rating.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 6,678 out of 9,741 examinees passed this year’s board exam, posting a national passing rate of 68.56%, with examinations conducted across 18 testing centers throughout the Philippines.

Beyond its topnotcher, BatStateU Lobo recorded a remarkable institutional performance by producing 35 newly licensed agriculturists and achieving an 89.74% campus passing rate, significantly surpassing the national average. This achievement highlights the campus’s commitment to academic excellence, intensive field-based learning, and the development of future-ready agriculture professionals.

University President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo commended Villarin and the successful passers for bringing pride and honor to the institution. Their accomplishments strengthen BatStateU’s resolve to advance quality education, research-driven instruction, and community-responsive programs aligned with its mandate as the Philippines' National Engineering University.

The premier National Engineering University elevated its agricultural hallmark as Ms. Gwyneth Gonzales Villarin sprouted to third spot with a 91.52% performance in the November 2025 Agriculturists Licensure Examination.

Villarin sliced through University of the Philippines - Los Baños’ strong presence in the top five, marking a standout performance for BatStateU The NEU - Lobo on the national stage.

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗨-𝗟𝗼𝗯𝗼 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝟳𝟮.𝟳𝟯% 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗟𝗘 ‘𝟮𝟱

Eight alums from the College of Agriculture and Forestry at Batangas State University – The NEU, Lobo Campus branched out their rigor as they passed the Forester Licensure Exam (FLE) 2025, conducted last October 16-17.

The joint success of 7 first-timers and 1 repeater yielded an overall performance of 72.73%, surpassing the 2023 institutional rating by 32.73%.

True to their commitment to transform lives, the institution mirrors a steady growth in producing licensed foresters, surpassing the national rating by 1.11%.
