Matagumpay na isinagawa ng Calantas National High School ang programang “United for a VAW-Free Philippines” noong Disyembre 12, 2025, bilang pakikiisa sa adbokasiya laban sa karahasan sa kababaihan at sa lahat. Ang mga gawain ay pinangunahan ng Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) at nilahukan ng mga mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang baitang.

Nagsimula ang mga aktibidad alas-9:00 ng umaga sa pamamagitan ng Poster Making Contest, kung saan naipamalas ng mga mag-aaral ang kanilang husay at pagkamalikhain sa paghahatid ng makabuluhang mensahe laban sa VAW. Kasabay nito, isinagawa rin ang Spoken Poetry sa bagong tayong Computer Laboratory, kung saan binigyang-boses ng mga kalahok ang kanilang saloobin, damdamin, at paninindigan laban sa karahasan.

Pagsapit ng ala-1:00 ng hapon, ginanap naman ang Dramatization Contest sa silid-aralan ng Grade 10 – Gabriel, kung saan tampok ang makabagbag-damdaming pagtatanghal na naglahad ng mga isyung panlipunan at panawagan para sa pagkakaisa at paggalang sa karapatan ng bawat isa.

Isinagawa ang pagbibigay-parangal alas-2:30 ng hapon. Bago ang anunsyo ng mga nanalo, taos-pusong pinasalamatan at kinilala ang mga hurado na sina Ma’am Creselyn R. Untalan, Ma’am Creselda P. Maceda, at Ma’am Babylyn P. Medrano sa kanilang oras, kaalaman, at patas na paghusga.

Ang programang ito ay patunay ng pagkakaisa ng buong pamayanan ng paaralan sa pagsusulong ng isang ligtas, makatao, at VAW-Free Philippines. Nawa’y magsilbi itong inspirasyon upang patuloy tayong manindigan laban sa karahasan at magtaguyod ng respeto at pagkakapantay-pantay para sa lahat.

Nitong araw, ika-24 ng Setyembre, 2025, sinimulan ng SSLG katuwang ang YES-O, ang muling pagsasaayos at pagbibigay-buhay sa ating mga halaman sa paaralan.

Mula sa pag-aayos ng mga nasirang hanging flower pots hanggang sa muling pagpapatibay ng kalinisan at kagandahan ng kapaligiran, patuloy na magsasama ang dalawang organisasyon upang mas mapatingkad ang luntiang tanawin sa ating paaralan.

Isang simpleng hakbang para sa mas masigla, mas maganda, at mas maaliwalas na paaralan para sa lahat!
