Application for the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) under Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan and CHED-UniFAST Scholarship is Now Open!

We are pleased to announce that the application for the Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) under Sen. Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan and the CHED-UniFAST Scholarship is now open. Only 50 slots are available! The form will close once the maximum number of responses has been reached.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
The program aims to provide direct financial assistance to deserving students in accredited agriculture, fisheries, forestry, and agri-related programs who are performing extension work or undergoing OJT/internship in farming and fishing communities, thereby reducing the financial burden of field-based academic requirements while amplifying the reach and quality of agricultural extension services nationwide.
BENEFITS:
Grant Components:
โข P7,500.00 for two semesters of A.Y. 2026-2027.
โข Total of P15,000.00 in one academic year.
Duration of Grant:
โข The grant covers the entire A.Y. of 2026-2027, a total of two semesters.
ELIGIBILITY:
Enrolled in Courses:
โข BS Agriculture (First Year) - 35 slots
โข BS Forestry (Third Year) - 15 slots
Who is currently undergoing or will undergo any of the following:
โข Community extension work as part of their curriculum (e.g., agricultural technology transfer, farm demonstration, cooperative development);
โข On-the-job training (OJT) or internship in farms, fishing communities, agricultural cooperatives, DA field offices, or agri-enterprises; and
โข Research extension activities involving direct work with farmers or fisherfolk.
Obligations and Retention Policy:
Extension / Field Obligations:
โข Complete the minimum required hours of extension work or OJT as specified by CHED and their school or university.
โข Submit a Field Accomplishment Report at the end of each deployment detailing services rendered, technologies demonstrated, and farmers assisted.
Grounds for Suspension or Termination of Grant:
โข Failure to meet the admission and retention policies of the university;
โข Failure to enroll for one (1) academic term with no leave of absence (LOA);
โข Suspension of the student from the university for one (1) academic term or more;
โข Expulsion of the student from the university;
โข Submission of falsified documents;
โข Availment of multiple national government-funded financial assistance programs, except for Free Higher Education in SUCs under R.A. 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act. Further, any student who is a recipient of any one-time grant or subsidy such as Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), Student Monetary Assistance for Recovery and Transition (SMART) or the like, shall be eligible for TDP or shall not be delisted as a continuing grantee, provided that the continuing grantees shall not receive TDP and SMART grants on the same semester.
