Basilio S. Mirasigan Memorial National High School proudly joins and supports the month-long celebration of National Children’s Month with the theme: “OSAEC-CSAEM WAKASAN: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata, Ipaglaban!”

To kick off the celebration, Basilians show their solidarity by wearing blue-colored shirts for , a united stand to promote awareness and champion the protection, safety, and rights of every child.

Together, let us continue raising our voices for a future where every child is safe, valued, and empowered.

As per PDRRMC Memorandum, dated 9 November 2025, Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto, as PDRRMO Chairperson, has announced the SUSPENSION OF CLASSES IN ALL LEVELS, BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, tomorrow, 10 November 2025, throughout the Province of Batangas.

This is founded on the latest science-based forecast and severe weather advisories issued by PAGASA on the effects of Typhoon UWAN.

Schools are encouraged to shift to modular distance learning to ensure continuity of learning, while prioritizing the safety of students and teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Local government units and school authorities are further enjoined to implement necessary precautionary measures and to coordinate with their respective local DRRM Councils for monitoring and response actions.

Curiosity came alive as our brilliant students explored the wonders of science through creative exhibits, featuring cell models of plants and animals, atom models, creative timelines, and the colorful electromagnetic spectrum.

Kudos to our young scientists for showcasing their knowledge and creativity.

Special commendation to Ma’am Gladys Abanilla, our dedicated Science teacher, for guiding and inspiring our learners, under the supervision of Ma’am Glory Deil, our ever-supportive Teacher-in-Charge.

Let us not keep the science equipment provided locked away, but instead place them in the hands of our students, where true learning begins. Allow their curiosity to explore, their minds to question, and their hearts to discover the endless wonders of science.
