With 3,140 out of 3,639 parents and guardians in attendance, the activity achieved an impressive 86.29% overall attendance rate. By grade level, attendance reached 88.22% for Grade 7, 87.86% for Grade 8, 88.34% for Grade 9, 88.37% for Grade 10, 84.29% for Grade 11, and 81.56% for Grade 12.

𝙄𝙣 𝙋𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤𝙨 - Following the Term 1 Parent-Teacher Conference General Assembly, Inosloban-Marawoy Integrated National High School (IMINHS) continued its engagement with parents through the Homeroom Parent-Teacher Conference (HPTC) and Card Giving on September 18, 2026, held in the respective classrooms after the general assembly.

The homeroom conference provided advisers and parents with an opportunity to discuss important matters concerning learners, school activities, classroom needs, safety, and academic progress. The activity emphasized the importance of sustained communication and cooperation between the school and families in supporting learners throughout the academic year.

The session opened with a prayer, followed by reminders regarding the School Calendar for Term 2. Advisers discussed upcoming schedules and encouraged parents to take note of important dates and activities to ensure their continued awareness and participation in their children’s education.

Another key agenda was safety awareness, particularly the role of parents in keeping children safe. Advisers reminded parents of their shared responsibility in promoting learner safety and discussed their schedules for regular inspection, reinforcing the importance of vigilance and cooperation in maintaining a safe school environment.

The advisers also discussed room assessment needs for their respective classes. In line with the school’s strict implementation of the No Collection Policy, parents were clearly reminded that no collection or mandatory contribution shall be solicited from learners or parents for classroom needs. Any support extended to the classroom must be purely voluntary, with no learner or parent being required, pressured, or compelled to contribute. The reminder underscored the school’s commitment to ensuring that participation remains voluntary and that learners are not subjected to any form of financial obligation.

The conference also featured a message from the HPTA President, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and open communication among parents, teachers, and the school community in addressing classroom concerns and supporting learners.

The activity proceeded to the card giving and parent-teacher conference, where parents received their children’s Term 1 report cards and had the opportunity to discuss their learners’ academic performance, behavior, progress, and areas needing further support with the respective advisers.

A closing prayer formally concluded the homeroom session.

Through the Homeroom PTC, IMINHS further strengthened its partnership with families while reinforcing its commitment to learner safety, academic development, responsible parent participation, and strict adherence to the No Collection Policy. The activity demonstrated the school’s continuing effort to keep parents informed and engaged while ensuring that every learner receives appropriate support from both home and school.

Inosloban-Marawoy Integrated National High School (IMINHS) brought parents and teachers together for its Term 1 Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) General Assembly and Card Giving held on September 18, 2026, at the School Gymnasium, highlighting the importance of strong home-school partnership in supporting learners’ academic progress, safety, and overall development.

The assembly opened with messages emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the school and parents as the learners move through the academic year. The activity provided parents with relevant information on school policies, student welfare, safety, and the programs being implemented by the school and its stakeholders.

Among the key discussions was the Student Handbook, presented by Mr. Aries L. Librea, Teacher III/Guidance Advocate, and Dr. Eden G. Garcia, Teacher III/Guidance Advocate. The discussion emphasized parents’ and learners’ awareness of school rules, responsibilities, proper conduct, and the importance of working with the school in addressing concerns involving students.

Mr. Roland F. Fesalbon, Teacher I and DRRM Coordinator, discussed the Parents’ Guide to Keeping Children Safe in School, underscoring the shared responsibility of parents and the school in creating a safe and supportive learning environment. The discussion highlighted the importance of vigilance, communication, preparedness, and parental involvement in safeguarding learners.

Meanwhile, Mr. Francis F. Ferranco, SPTA President, and Mrs. Maria Clarisse A. Ichikawa, SPTA Treasurer, presented the SPTA Projects, Programs, and Activities, emphasizing the role of parents and stakeholders in supporting school initiatives and contributing to programs that benefit learners and the school community.

The assembly also featured messages from school leaders and department representatives, reinforcing the importance of maintaining open communication with parents and addressing learners’ needs through collaboration. The PTC served not only as a venue for the distribution of report cards but also as an opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss learners’ progress and concerns.

Following the general assembly, the card-giving and parent-teacher conferences proceeded according to grade-level schedules: Grade 7 and Grade 9 at 9:45 a.m.; Grade 11 and Grade 12 at 12:45 p.m.; and Grade 8 and Grade 10 at 3:45 p.m.

Through the Term 1 PTC, IMINHS strengthened its commitment to building a collaborative partnership among parents, teachers, and school stakeholders, recognizing that consistent communication and shared responsibility are essential in helping learners succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

BALETE, BATANGAS | September 19, 2026 — The M.A.R.I.N.O.S Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) participated in the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Drive held on September 19, 2026, in Balete, Batangas, in support of this year’s theme, “Clean Seas for Resilient Communities.”

The activity was held in observance of International Coastal Cleanup Day, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 470, s. 2003, which declared the third Saturday of September of every year as the International Coastal Clean-Up Day. The annual observance calls on communities and organizations to take part in activities that help address waste pollution and promote the protection of waterways, coastal areas, and other natural environments.

The M.A.R.I.N.O.S BSP contingent was led by its Outfit Advisers, Jymbo B. Katigbak, August R. Marquez, Ariel M. Francisco, and Gerald P. Mendoza, PhD, who guided and supervised the Scouts throughout the cleanup activity. Their participation reflected the Scouts’ commitment to service, environmental responsibility, and active community involvement.

The cleanup initiative in Balete was led by Mark Benedict R. Del Mundo, Municipal Agriculturist and Designated Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO), who spearheaded the local environmental activity and brought together participants in support of the nationwide coastal cleanup campaign.

Throughout the activity, the Scouts participated in the removal and proper collection of trash and other waste materials found in the cleanup area. Beyond the physical removal of waste, the activity provided the Scouts with an opportunity to put the principles of Scouting into practice by serving the community and helping protect the environment.

The M.A.R.I.N.O.S Boy Scouts’ participation in the 2026 International Coastal Cleanup demonstrates the continuing role of young people in promoting environmental awareness and community responsibility. Through collective action and service, the Scouts contributed to the call for cleaner waterways, healthier communities, and a more sustainable environment.

Clean seas begin with responsible communities—and meaningful change begins with service.

Grade 7 learners of Inosloban-Marawoy Integrated National High School (IMINHS) led the Flag Raising Ceremony on Wednesday September 16 as part of the official opening of Term 2 and the celebration of the successful completion of Term 1.

The ceremony was spearheaded by the SPFL–CM Lao Tzu learners, who took charge of the various parts of the program. The morning exercise was led by the SIPCA Pavarotti learners, providing an energetic start to the new term.

In his message, School Principal IV Joe I. Titular emphasized three important values that learners should remember and practice throughout the school year: Discipline, Responsibility, and Respect. He reminded the learners that these values extend beyond the classroom and serve as important foundations for becoming responsible, respectful, and successful individuals.

The activity marked not only the beginning of another term but also an opportunity for learners to reflect on their accomplishments in Term 1 and set new goals for the succeeding term.

As Term 2 begins, the Grade 7 learners are encouraged to continue their pursuit of learning and excellence, guided by the three essential values emphasized during the ceremony—Discipline, Responsibility, and Respect.

The Inosloban-Marawoy Integrated National High School (IMINHS) informs all learners, parents, guardians, teaching and non-teaching personnel that, pursuant to Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 135, alternative work arrangements in government offices and alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools in Batangas shall be implemented on September 10, 2026, unless otherwise directed by the respective Local Chief Executives.

This measure is in anticipation of the continued heavy rainfall associated with the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall.
