The College of Nursing of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa has officially begun its admission interviews for incoming first-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) passers at the Medical Arts Building, Main Campus.
The interview serves as a crucial step in the admission process, allowing aspiring nursing students demonstrate their readiness, commitment, and passion for the profession. The Dean and Faculty members continue to assess each applicant as they take one step closer to becoming the next generation of Nars Iskolars ng Lipa.

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) takes the initiative in conducting a seminar on "Substance Abuse Awareness" at the 3rd Floor Skills Laboratory of the Medical Arts Building. Organized in partnership with the Toxicology Specialty Center of the Batangas Medical Center, this program is held with the students as the beneficiaries of this insightful seminar.
The program officially kicked off with the opening remarks delivered by Prof. Anthony B. Llanes, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services. This was followed by a solemn opening prayer led by Blessie Milan, with Desiree Gamo and Glenn Dado serving as the Masters of Ceremonies.
Currently discussing the core of the seminar is the esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Busilak Grace P. Verceles-Evangelista, MD, DFM, DPSCOT, a member of the BatMC Toxicology Team. Dr. Evangelista is engaging the students by exploring their initial ideas on the topic and providing a comprehensive discussion on the most commonly abused substances today.

Level 1 and Level 2 KLL-CON students gathered at the Lipa City Sports Academy Convention Center for an interactive seminar-workshop on ASL and FSL led by Ms. Jocelyn D. Olave, LPT. The event featured an advocacy talk by ANG NARS Organization President Dr. Jonathan Rey Sulayao, empowering students to use their voices to advocate for their rights as future healthcare workers. Sir Leo M. Atienza, PhD, concluded the seminar with an inspiring reminder for the future nurses: โSign for Care, Serve with Compassion, and Speak with Love.โ ๐๏ธ

Putting classroom learning into public health service, KLL College of Nursing conducted a community outreach program for local youth in Barangay Dagatan. Clinical Coordinator Sir Mark Jayson Mendoza opened the event by expressing deep gratitude to the Barangay Dagatan Officials and St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish for making the seminar possible, followed by an inspiring message from Brother Mario Quiatchon. The nursing students then led interactive discussions and demonstrations on proper handwashing, nail care, and oral care, and concluded the day by distributing school supplies to the children. ๐

KLL College of Nursing officially kicked off Nursesโ Week 2026 at the Medical Arts Building, featuring the inspiring welcoming remarks of Dean Dr. Mila B. Punzalan and a symbolic "Florence Nightingale Walk" portrayed by Ms. Jhanna Reyes. The celebration proceeded to a thrilling Nursing Quiz Bee showdown, where selected Level 1 and Level 2 students showcased their academic excellence as Group 9 emerged as the Champion, followed by Group 4 and Group 6! ๐ง

The "HandSpeak: Sign for Care" Seminar-Workshop is currently being held at the Lipa City Sports Academy Convention Center, with the participation of Level 1 and Level 2 nursing students of the College of Nursing.
The seminar-workshop is being facilitated by the guest speaker, Ms. Jocelyn D. Olave, LPT, who shares valuable knowledge and skills in sign language communication.
The college is now witnessing the efforts and hard work of the students, especially the Level 1 officers under the leadership and supervision of Dr. Leo M. Atienza in making the activity successful and meaningful for the students.
Also present during the activity is the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Mila B. Punzalan, RN, MAN, together with the respected faculty members of the College of Nursing. The activity aims to help future nurses become more compassionate, understanding, and inclusive when communicating. Through this seminar, students are learning the importance of effective communication in providing quality patient care.
