Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa, College of Nursing conducted the 2nd Year Students’ Pre-Clinical Orientation and Return Demonstration, a crucial component in preparing nursing students for their upcoming clinical experiences, ensuring that each student is adequately prepared to perform fundamental nursing procedures safely, accurately, and confidently. It serves as an important bridge between theoretical learning and actual clinical practice, reinforcing the standards and responsibilities expected of future nursing professionals.

Through this significant undertaking, the College of Nursing continues to uphold its commitment to cultivating competent, compassionate, and professionally prepared nurses who are ready to provide safe and quality patient care.

The activity was facilitated under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Nursing, Dr. Mila B. Punzalan, together with Ma’am Flor A. Grimaldo, RN, MAN, Ma'am Smylle T. Pasahol, RN, MAN, and Ma’am Maritess M. Casas, RN, MAN. Their supervision and expertise provided the students with essential guidance in developing and demonstrating the knowledge, skills, discipline, and professionalism required in the clinical setting.

𝐊𝐋𝐋-𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐒 𝟑𝐑𝐃 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐈𝐍 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐐𝐒 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐙 𝐁𝐎𝐖𝐋!

A remarkable first step for the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa – College of Nursing (KLL-CON) as its representatives secured 3rd Place in the inaugural MedIQs: Nursing Quiz Bowl, held at the Lipa Medix Medical Center MAB Auditorium on August 12, 2026.

Representing KLL-CON were Kimberly Fiestada, Moen Castañeda, Lynsey Arabela Dimayuga, and John Daverick Go, who stood alongside fellow nursing students from other institutions in a five-round battle of knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork.

This competition marked KLL-CON’s first time participating in the nursing quiz bee competition. With limited time and little opportunity to prepare, our representatives still stepped forward and embraced the challenge. Despite the circumstances, they proved that being a KLLista means facing every challenge with courage, determination, and excellence—and ultimately earning a well-deserved place.

This achievement was made possible through the guidance of Dean of College of Nursing, Dr. Mila B. Punzalan with the support of Clinical Coordinator Mark Jayson Mendoza and Coach Ronnie Amazona.

This endeavor may be a first step, but it already serves as a powerful testament to what KLL-CON can accomplish. May this breakthrough spark the beginning of many more victories to come.

The College of Nursing is currently conducting the Health Data recording activity for all BSN freshmen at the KLL School Clinic at the Medical Building in the Main Campus. The activity ensures that each student has the necessary health information properly recorded for their health records. The assessment is being facilitated by the College of Nursing with the help of the Level 3 nursing students.

𝗔 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗦: 𝗡𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗦𝗞𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗢 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

The Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa – College of Nursing officially welcomed its students on the first day of classes for Academic Year 2026–2027 on August 5, 2026, at the KLL Medical Arts Building. Freshmen Nars Iskolar were introduced to their respective sections, classmates, and Clinical Instructors, marking the beginning of their journey toward becoming future nursing professionals.

During the orientation, Dr. Mila B. Punzalan, Dean of the College of Nursing, discussed the College's dress code, academic expectations, and the standards of professionalism that will guide students throughout the academic year. The opening program set the tone for a year founded on excellence, discipline, and compassionate service—the defining qualities of every Nars Iskolar.

𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦: 𝐊𝐋𝐋 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐊𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐀

Led by the Student Executive Council (SEC) of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa, the three-day Project KALINGA brought together various academic departments in a campus-wide restoration and clean-up drive from July 29 to 31, 2026. Despite weather-related interruptions, the College of Nursing, alongside its student organizations and volunteers, remained committed to completing assigned tasks across the Main and Annex campuses, helping prepare the learning environment for the opening of the academic year.

The initiative concluded with an Awarding Ceremony held at 3:00 PM at the CCS Building, recognizing the dedication and contributions of all participating student organizations. Through its active participation, the KLL College of Nursing once again demonstrated the values of service, resilience, and teamwork in support of the wider KLL community.

The College of Nursing of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa has officially begun its admission interviews for incoming first-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) passers at the Medical Arts Building, Main Campus.

The interview serves as a crucial step in the admission process, allowing aspiring nursing students demonstrate their readiness, commitment, and passion for the profession. The Dean and Faculty members continue to assess each applicant as they take one step closer to becoming the next generation of Nars Iskolars ng Lipa.

Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) takes the initiative in conducting a seminar on "Substance Abuse Awareness" at the 3rd Floor Skills Laboratory of the Medical Arts Building. Organized in partnership with the Toxicology Specialty Center of the Batangas Medical Center, this program is held with the students as the beneficiaries of this insightful seminar.

The program officially kicked off with the opening remarks delivered by Prof. Anthony B. Llanes, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services. This was followed by a solemn opening prayer led by Blessie Milan, with Desiree Gamo and Glenn Dado serving as the Masters of Ceremonies.

Currently discussing the core of the seminar is the esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Busilak Grace P. Verceles-Evangelista, MD, DFM, DPSCOT, a member of the BatMC Toxicology Team. Dr. Evangelista is engaging the students by exploring their initial ideas on the topic and providing a comprehensive discussion on the most commonly abused substances today.

Level 1 and Level 2 KLL-CON students gathered at the Lipa City Sports Academy Convention Center for an interactive seminar-workshop on ASL and FSL led by Ms. Jocelyn D. Olave, LPT. The event featured an advocacy talk by ANG NARS Organization President Dr. Jonathan Rey Sulayao, empowering students to use their voices to advocate for their rights as future healthcare workers. Sir Leo M. Atienza, PhD, concluded the seminar with an inspiring reminder for the future nurses: “Sign for Care, Serve with Compassion, and Speak with Love.” 🎙️

Putting classroom learning into public health service, KLL College of Nursing conducted a community outreach program for local youth in Barangay Dagatan. Clinical Coordinator Sir Mark Jayson Mendoza opened the event by expressing deep gratitude to the Barangay Dagatan Officials and St. Therese of the Child Jesus Parish for making the seminar possible, followed by an inspiring message from Brother Mario Quiatchon. The nursing students then led interactive discussions and demonstrations on proper handwashing, nail care, and oral care, and concluded the day by distributing school supplies to the children. 🎒
