For the safety and well-being of our entire school community, there will be no face-to-face classes for all levels tomorrow, August 20 (Thursday).
In accordance with the directive from MalacaΓ±ang, SSISM will again shift to VOLT β Virtual Online Learning and Teaching (Synchronous Learning) in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall and possible flooding. π§οΈπ»π
We kindly ask our students and parents for their patience and understanding as this is a government-mandated measure to ensure everyoneβs safety while the inclement weather continues.

Due to the continuous heavy rains, resulting in flooding and other possible safety risks, face-to-face classes for ALL LEVELS will remain suspended tomorrow, August 19, 2026 (Wednesday).
Depending on the weather and safety conditions tomorrow morning, classes will proceed through either VOLT or asynchronous learning.

π’ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT | August 18, 2026
In view of the Red Rainfall Warning and the advisory of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), all levels at Stonyhurst Southville International School β Malarayat (SSISM) will shift from VOLT classes to asynchronous learning today, August 18, 2026.
This shift is being implemented to prioritize the safety and well-being of our students, families, and school personnel amid the continuing heavy rains and possible flooding.
π Students are encouraged to use this time to stay safe at home, keep up with their learning, and remain productive. Please check GSpace and email for learning activities, announcements, and instructions from advisers and teachers.
We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, monitor official weather and safety advisories, and avoid unnecessary travel while the Red Rainfall Warning is in effect.

π§οΈ ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES β TUESDAY, AUGUST 18, 2026
In accordance with the announcement from MalacaΓ±ang and the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), all public and private schools in Batangas will shift to alternative learning modes tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18, due to the expected continued heavy rainfall and possible flooding. π§οΈ
For Stonyhurst Southville International School β Malarayat, Grades 1β12 will conduct VOLT classes online following the regular class schedule, with GMeet links to be sent by the respective advisers through email. π» Students are advised to check their school email and be ready to join their classes on time. Preschool students will engage in asynchronous learning.
π§ Students and parents are advised to continue monitoring their school email and the schoolβs official communication channels for any further updates.
π Everyone is encouraged to stay safe, remain at home, and avoid unnecessary travel while weather conditions remain unfavorable.

ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING DAY
Monday, August 17, 2026
Stonyhurst Southville International School β Malarayat will have NO REGULAR CLASSES on Monday, August 17, 2026, as the school dedicates the day to preparations for the ISO EOMS External Audit on Tuesday, August 18.
Instead, Monday will be observed as an ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING DAY. This means that students will not report to school or attend regular classes, but are expected to work independently from home and accomplish the tasks assigned by their teachers.
Students are advised to check their Diaries and/or Academic Weekly Planners for instructions, learning activities, and assigned tasks from their respective teachers.
Regular face-to-face classes will resume on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
