𝙇𝘾𝘾 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝟑𝙧𝙙 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙄𝙌𝙨: 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯 𝘽𝙤𝙬𝙡

The Lipa City Colleges (LCC) College of Nursing earned third place with 80 points in the first MedIQs: Nursing Quiz Bowl, held on August 12, 2026, at the Lipa Medix Medical Center MAB Auditorium.

Organized by the Nursing Services Division of Lipa Medix Medical Center, in collaboration with the Marketing Department, the competition was conducted as part of the celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan. The event gathered nursing students from different institutions to test their knowledge while promoting teamwork, camaraderie, and healthy competition.

Five nursing schools participated in the competition: Lipa City Colleges, Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa, De La Salle Lipa, National University Lipa, and Faith Colleges. Each institution sent a team composed of four student nurses, with one representative from each year level.

Lipa City Colleges (LCC) was represented by 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝟏𝐇, 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝟐𝐄, 𝐍𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝟑𝐁, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐳 𝐨𝐟 𝐍𝟒𝐂. Together, the representatives faced various questions that challenged their knowledge, critical-thinking abilities, and understanding of nursing practice.

The competition consisted of five sets of questions covering general nursing knowledge and trivia about Lipa Medix Medical Center. The quiz bowl was designed not only to assess the students' knowledge but also to encourage teamwork and enthusiasm for the nursing profession.

Beyond the competition, MedIQs: Nursing Quiz Bowl provided student nurses with an opportunity to learn from one another and build connections with fellow future healthcare professionals. The event also highlighted the importance of collaboration among nursing institutions in strengthening nursing education and professional development.

Lipa City Colleges in partnership with Big Ben Annual Tree Planting 2026, came together for a meaningful tree-planting activity at Sitio Hinitan Brgy. Duhatan, Lipa City, Batangas.

More than planting trees, we are planting hope, strengthening our communities, and taking action for a healthier and more sustainable environment.

Cryptita Plays Builder Showcase @ WOCEE 2026

Last August 8, 2026, CCTE students of Lipa City Colleges attended the Cryptita Plays Builder Showcase @ WOCEE 2026, held at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Pasay City.

The event brought together students, developers, researchers, startups, and innovators to showcase existing projects and explore emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Blockchain, IoT, and Cybersecurity.

The CCTE students had the opportunity to learn from different innovators, discover new ideas, gain valuable insights, and connect with people in the technology community. The event also encouraged students to continue developing their skills and creating innovative solutions.

We would also like to extend our warmest greetings to Dean Kristoffer Alain Sarmiento of the College of Computing Technology and Engineering (CCTE). Thank you for your continuous support and dedication in helping our students grow and explore opportunities in the field of technology.

Indeed, the Cryptita Plays Builder Showcase @ WOCEE 2026 was a meaningful experience for the CCTE students of Lipa City Colleges an opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired to keep building and innovating.
