Ready, Set, Swim: A New Learning Adventure Begins!

Making a splash into a new chapter of learning! Last Friday, August 14, 2026, the Third Year students of the Bachelor of Physical Education officially began their first-ever class in PED 118: Swimming and Aquatics, held at the Lipa City Community Park.

With excitement filling the air, the BPED 3rd Year students stepped into this new learning experience with enthusiasm and eagerness. Beyond learning the basics of swimming and aquatics, they look forward to developing new skills, building confidence, and gaining meaningful experiences throughout the course.

Adding to the excitement is the opportunity to learn under the guidance of Sir Florante Katigbak, whose knowledge and expertise will help lead the students through this exciting aquatic journey.

As they take their first strokes, may this new chapter bring valuable lessons, unforgettable experiences, and waves of growth for every future educator.

The halls of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa came alive as first-year Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) students officially marked their first day of classes for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

Filled with excitement, enthusiasm, and anticipation, the newest members of the BPED family took their first steps toward becoming future physical educators. Their opening day was highlighted by warm welcomes, classroom introductions, and the beginning of a journey that will develop their knowledge, skills, leadership, and passion for physical education.

As the BPED program continues to grow in its third year, these 96 freshmen represent a new generation of aspiring educators ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

Demonstrating its steady growth and increasing appeal among aspiring educators, the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) program of Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Lipa (KLL) welcomed 96 new freshmen for the Academic Year 2026–2027, marking another milestone as the program enters its third year.

The latest enrollment figures reflect the program's expanding presence within the institution and its growing reputation for producing future physical education professionals committed to excellence in teaching, sports, fitness, and community wellness.

Since its establishment, the BPED program has continued to strengthen its academic foundation by providing students with quality instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and opportunities that foster leadership, discipline, and holistic development. The City Government of Lipa announced the suspension of face-to-face classes on Thursday, August 6, 2026, due to continuous heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm .

Based on the latest weather advisory from DOST-PAGASA, all public and private schools in Lipa City will shift to Modular/Online Distance Learning for all levels to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel.
