𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐩𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

Academia de Lipa City, Inc. successfully held its Career Guidance Program last April 10, 2026, an event created to help students make informed decisions about their college paths and future careers. The activity was filled with insightful talks, creative presentations, and words of encouragement for all attendees.

The program formally commenced with warm and meaningful opening remarks delivered by the school principal, Mrs. Veneracion M. Perez. She welcomed the guests, speakers, and students, emphasizing how important this activity is to guide the youth as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives.

Kicking off the discussions was Mrs. Geneva Salud, who shared her journey and expertise in the teaching profession. She talked about the strengths, demands, and daily challenges that teachers face, as well as the essential characteristics of an effective educator. She also gave practical strategies on how to connect and engage meaningfully with students.

Mrs. Geneva Salud emphasized that success takes hard work and dedication, saying: “𝘕𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵.” She reminded everyone that to grow and succeed, one must be flexible and take initiative. She also left powerful reminders: “𝘖𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘤𝘬𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩."

After the first guest speaker message, the event proceeded with a series of fun and meaningful activities. The Grade 12 students took the stage for a creative ramp walk, showcasing outfits and attires that represent their dream jobs and future professions. This activity allowed everyone to proudly display their career goals and aspirations.

Next, a representative from Perpetual Help introduced their institution, discussing their school programs, quality of education, and student support services. They highlighted the school’s core commitment through their motto: “𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯”, explaining that this value is what makes Perpetual Help a reliable place to pursue higher education goals.

Sharing a heartfelt personal story was Ms. Maria Criselda E. Tapic, an alumna of Academia de Lipa City, Inc., She narrated her journey from senior high school to college life, sharing that she did not end up taking the course she originally dreamed of. According to her, God had a different better path planned for her that fit her purpose. She also shared that after graduating, she realized that the reality of the real world is far different from what she expected while she was still studying. Her most meaningful message to the students was: “𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮.”

Adding excitement and entertainment to the occasion, the Grade 12 students also performed a lively intermission number that energized the crowd and made the event even more memorable.

Right after the performance, one of our faculty advisers, Ms. Lyza Yulip, took the stage to share her personal experience as a former student of Academia de Lipa City, Inc. Her talk resonated deeply with the audience, especially the Grade 12 students, as she discussed relevant topics including the reality that no more "𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘚𝘛𝘚" after they graduated. Her heartfelt message touched the hearts of everyone, particularly the hardworking Grade 12 students, leaving words that are truly worth keeping in mind. She proudly told the batch: “𝘒𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘶𝘯𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭”. – Ms. Lyza Yulip

Following the message of Ms. Lyza, the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. Career Guidance awarding was held. The prestigious titles were awarded to Mr. Cloud Kaizer Pogoso (Pilot) and Ms. Jillian Olarte (Nurse), who best embodied confidence and clarity for their chosen career paths.

The event concluded successfully, leaving all attendees inspired, entertained, and equipped with guidance that will help them as they take the next steps towards their chosen careers.

The Science and Mathematics Society in cooperation with Academia de Lipa City, Inc. school spread hope and smiles to the residents of San Sebastian and students from Lodlod Elementary School after successfully conducting an outreach program this 26th of March- supporting families and pupils through the distribution of goods.

Students from different Senior High School organizations and faculty members were divided into two groups, both arriving at 9:15 AM at different venues, where they later carried the goods to be given to the residents.

The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Lidy Cheanelle Doce and Althea Denise Aclan, SSG officers of the Senior High School Department of Academia de Lipa, who prayed for God’s guidance to make the program successful and expressed heartfelt gratitude for making it possible.

This was followed by the opening remarks of two teachers from Academia de Lipa, Mrs. Althea Mayor and Mrs. Arsenia Retania, who expressed their gratitude to the residents, children, and parents for allotting time for the program, to God for guidance, to the barangay officials and teachers for the warm welcome, and to everyone who made this event possible. The Barangay Captain, Runnel Leynes, and Assistant Principal, Dr. Apple Jane Magbuhat, also shared short messages, extending gratitude to Academia de Lipa City, Inc’s students, teachers, and volunteers for conducting this program- helping families who struggle financially by providing supplies.

The program continued with an energizing activity - a Zumba session, and an intermission number led by PAG Club members, which made everyone thrilled and excited. The faces of all the beneficiaries lit up as different games such as Love, Joy, Hope, Bring Me, Stop Dance, Pass the Balloon, and Hep Hep Hooray were conducted—spreading enjoyment throughout the entire venue.

Then, the highlight of the activity finally launched- the distribution of food, blue eco-bags filled with goods, and loot bags with sweets and snacks, which made the residents and pupils feel enthusiastic, glad, and grateful for what they received.

The program concluded with closing remarks by SSG Adviser Ms. Lyza Yulip, SK Chairman Paulo Landicho, and one of the Counsilors from San Sebastian, who gave heartwarming messages to everyone present in the program, including Academia de Lipa City, Inc., teachers, students, departments, volunteers, donors, and beneficiaries. This outreach program will not end in Brgy. San Sebastian and Lodlod Elementary School, as Academia de Lipa City, Inc. is committed to continuing its mission of helping and supporting the community by serving, donating, and taking actions to make every door in the city spark with hope.

Academia de Lipa City, Inc. turned its grounds into a hub of joy, learning, and togetherness from February 24 to 27, 2026, as students, parents, and invited possible future stakeholders came together for a series of interconnected events that celebrated everything the institution stands for. From family affair and students’ talents showcase to inter-school camaraderie and academic excellence. The entire week was woven into one seamless celebration – with all guests warmly welcomed, given tours of interactive booths by Grade 11 students, and treated to delicious fare at the Grade 12 food station throughout the entire run.

The festivities kicked off on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 with the exciting 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝘿𝙖𝙮, in which the school’s elementary learners and their family joined forces for fun-filled games like relay races, sack races, and stop dance that strengthened home-school ties. As the day shifted to afternoon, the gymnasium came alive for 𝘼𝘿𝙇 𝙂𝙤𝙩 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩, wherein performers showcased skills in singing and dancing across genres from pop to traditional folk. The competition crowned Team Truthfulness as 1st place for their synchronized hip-hop dance, a solo singer as 2nd place for a special song, and XB of Academia as 3rd place for their high-energy song and moves.

Parallel to these activities, 𝙏𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝘼𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 highlighted the creativity and talents of Senior High School students, with Grade 11 learners from 11-STEM A, 11-STEM B, and 11-HUMSS presenting acts that blended their strands with art – dancing to singing. Special intermissions featured Alaizza Chloe Aguirre and Nhover Maralit of 11-HUMSS with a heartfelt duet, plus the ADL Band performing a crowd-pleasing medley of hits that had everyone on their feet.

Furthermore, as part of school’s marketing program, Senior High School department in collaboration with Administrative office and Junior High School department brought academic excitement with a 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙥 𝙌𝙪𝙞𝙯 𝘽𝙚𝙚, where teams from Grade 10 level competed with their all to raise their team. After tough rounds of problem-solving, Group of Formento, Manalo, and Ramirez took 1st place, Group of Atienza, Dimaculangan, and Salangsang secured 2nd, and Group of Fiscal, Fajutagana, and Miranda claimed 3rd – all demonstrating impressive teamwork and knowledge.

The week wrapped up on Friday, February 27 with 𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙣, welcoming day care learners from neighboring schools for fun games and adventure. Academians warmly welcomed and accommodated the young learners and their guardians, fostering friendship and unity across communities as parents joined in the fun.

Every moment of the celebration was anchored in community – Grade 11’s booths offered interactive displays and learning opportunities, while Grade 12’s food station kept everyone nourished. This week showed us that when we bring everyone together – families, students, neighboring schools – we build something truly special and quite beneficial for everybody.

To mark the impending end of the academic year 2025- 2026, Academia de Lipa's SHS students gave it their all in organizing one of the last programs they would attend for this academic year. Every booth lined up in the school's gymnasium is a testament to the imaginative, dedicated, and capable nature of the students.

Last Wednesday, February 25, 2026, schedules of SHS students were jam-packed with activities. The school's gymnasium was filled with students from various schools, along with their families, who came to celebrate Entrepreneur Day of Grade 12 students as well as the presentation of the exhibits prepared by Grade 11 students. For the former, this marked their first day of business. This served as an opportunity for students to test their strategic, innovative, and communication skills. Each stall offered various snacks ranging from savory noodles and fries to saccharine desserts. As well as refreshing drinks to combat the heat. Aside from the treats, they also cooked up mini games and activities that evoked laughter from their patrons.

Simultaneously, the latter showcased their creativity and perseverance through their colorful exhibits that embody the richness of the culture and history of their assigned places.
STEM B represented the 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝: 𝘾𝙀𝘽𝙐; HUMSS represented the 𝘾𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙅𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙤: 𝘿𝘼𝙑𝘼𝙊; STEM A represented the 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙖 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙨: 𝙌𝙐𝙀𝙕𝙊𝙉; And HAI/ABM represented the 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨: 𝘽𝘼𝙂𝙐𝙄𝙊. However, their creativity didn't stop at the booths; because each strand delivered eye-catching performances that set the stage for the explanations from each of their representatives.

The exhilarating events continues on the following days visited by many visitors and fellow academians.

On February 27, 2026, the efforts of Grade 11 students were recognized during the awarding ceremony that took place in the afternoon. The first award of the day, "Best Tour Guides", was rewarded to HUMSS representatives: Norfaisa Ambal and Aaron Maralit for their enjoyable performance and charisma. Their words captivated the judges for the entire duration of their tour through the Crown Jewel of Davao. Things seemed lively for STEM A after bagging four certificates for "Most Creative Booth", "Best Delicacies", "Best Probability Game", and "Best Place Representation".

It appears that weeks of preparation and teamwork –as well as loads of imagination– tipped the scales in their favor. For the major awards, HAI/ABM and their incredible representation of The Summer Capital of the Philippines earned them 2nd place. The whole gymnasium was taken by surprise during the awarding of the holder of 1st place because of the tie between HUMSS and STEM B who wonderfully represented Davao and Cebu respectively. Finally, the title of Winner was once again received by STEM A for the eye candy that is their booth.

The said events were concluded successfully at Academia de Lipa and truly, one that is likely to be remembered. During the program, each and every student showcased their skills and capabilities; setting a new precedent for the new generation of Academians.
