SDO Lipa's Public Schools Division Supervisor Dr. Evangeline Escabel visited Plaridel NHS as part of the implementation of Project LISTEN or β€œListen to Learners, Identify Risks Early, Strengthen Support System, Take Prompt Action, Engage Stakeholders, and Nurture Safe and Caring Schools”.

The said project seeks to promote a safe, inclusive, and caring school environment where learners will feel free to speak and receive solutions to their concerns.

Dr. Escabel attended the flag ceremony, convened the teachers for a short kumustahan, and gathered the class presidents to check on their classes' conditions in the school.

With safety as the main concern of the said project, SDO executives hope to hear from the school's primary stakeholders, in order to help them address the learners' various concerns when it comes to thriving in schools.

The said visit successfully attained its purpose and Plaridel NHS acknowledges its role to help make the project work towards fostering a safer and more caring environment for all the learners.

Plaridel NHS teaching personnel gathered last Thursday for the first Learning Action Cell session this school year 2026-2027.

Following one of the suggested broad topics for LAC which is the Guidelines on Lesson Planning and Instructional Design, the session carried the topic ILAW Framework, facilitated by Ma'am Gerly R. Ibanez, where she discussed the recent lesson plan framework by DepEd and where she shared comprehensive examples for the reference of new and old teachers alike.

The teachers attentively paid attention during the discussion and productively worked together during the break-out sessions - with the objective of learning more at every chance they get.

Kudos to all the teachers for the successful first LAC session.

May the light of your optimistic aura spread all through the entire school body and may your brilliance in teaching and leadership radiate in every learner and teacher towards a school environment that glows and grows in passion for learning.

Happy National Teachers' Month! πŸ‘©β€πŸ«

It's National Teachers' Month this September
and it's Cheryl Day today! β™₯️

As we celebrate our teachers, we put them in the limelight that they deserve - and for our part, we are letting each one shine through the Terrific Teacher in the Frame. 😊

So today, let's raise a glass to our school principal - a great leader of the entire school body, an awesome mentor to the teachers, and a caring second mother to the learners.

She has put so much effort, energy, and time to make the school a better learning place for the learners, to make the workplace a healthy environment for the teachers, and to make the experience in Plaridel NHS worth it indeed.

She is a great teacher - one who passes on knowledge and wisdom, touches lives, and inspires people. Today, let's thank her and give her our sweetest message!

Happy National Teachers' Month, Madam Che! The entire PNHS family loves you!
