‎A city is more than just buildings.
‎
‎It’s where people 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲. SDG 11 calls for cities that are 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, with access to housing, transportation, public spaces, and essential services.

‎Yet the reality remains: 1.16 billion urban residents lived in slums or informal settlements in 2024, showing that many communities still face challenges in accessing adequate housing and basic services.

‎But as our Program Chairperson, 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘁. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕.
