September is Su***de Prevention Month-a time to confront and dismantle the stigma around su***de and mental health. Stigma fuels shame and isolation making it hard for people to seek help. To build a supportive community, we must challenge these harmful attitudes and change how we talk about su***de.
Encouraging open conversations and using compassionate language creates safe spaces for sharing experiences. Normalizing mental health care helps individuals seek support without hesitation.
Remember, you don't have to face your challenges alone. The Student Assistance Center and Peer Facilitator's Club are here to listen and support you every step of the way.
