HIMAMAT 2026: First Day High at Margarita K. Yusingco National High School

The opening of classes through HIMAMAT 2026 was made even more meaningful with the presence and support of our distinguished community leaders, headed by Barangay Captain Hon. Urbano C. Pepito, Jr. and Vice Chairwoman Merly A. Catulay. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated MKYNHS faculty and staff led by Ms. Mercilyn B. Sango, together with our hardworking SSLG Officers who served as our partners in ensuring a successful opening of classes under the guidance of Ms. Rhea Mae E. Villamor.

Despite the earthquake that occurred during the day, our learners, teachers, and staff remained resilient and steadfast. We ended the day with grateful hearts, unwavering determination, and a stronger commitment to learning.

Above all, we thank the Lord for His protection and for keeping everyone safe throughout the day. As we begin another school year, may we continue to embrace challenges with courage, unity, and excellence.

Margarita K. Yusingco National High School demonstrated preparedness and resilience as learners, teachers, and staff promptly responded to the sudden earthquake that occurred on the first day of classes.

Following established safety protocols, everyone remained calm and immediately performed the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure before proceeding to the designated evacuation areas.

The successful and orderly evacuation reflects the school's commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all members of the school community. We commend our learners, teachers, and personnel for their cooperation, discipline, and presence of mind during the incident.

Let us continue to promote a culture of preparedness and safety at all times.

The Margarita K. Yusingco National High School community proudly celebrates the successful conclusion of the school year! Under the steadfast leadership of Ms. Mercilyn B. Sango, the faculty and staff demonstrated what true synergy looks like.

From the initial stages of meticulous planning and preparation to the final restoration of the venue, the dedicated working committees labored round the clock to ensure every EOSY activity was a triumph. These achievements are a testament to the hard work of the team and the unwavering guidance of their ever-supportive school head.
