On the afternoon of February 9, the Lingig II District marked a meaningful milestone as PDO Junsam Cloyd Legaspo conducted the first District-Wide Mental Health Lecture Session entitled “Healing Starts in You.”

Held at Double R Salt Integrated Farm, the activity gathered student leaders from across the district for an afternoon of reflection, learning, and empowerment. The session emphasized the importance of self-awareness, emotional strength, and supporting one another in times of struggle, reminding students that healing and resilience begin from within.

Through this initiative, Lingig II continues to nurture not only academic excellence but also the mental and emotional well-being of its future leaders. 🌱💚

Last February 10, Lingig II District, in collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), successfully conducted its first District-Wide Lecture on Drug Use in the Workplace for faculty members and Drug Abuse Prevention Education for learners held at Double R Salt Integrated Farm.

The activity aimed to strengthen awareness on the dangers of illegal drugs, promote a drug-free workplace, and empower learners with the knowledge and values needed to resist substance abuse. Through this initiative, both educators and students were reminded of their vital role in building a safe, healthy, and drug-free school community. Lingig II would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Lingig spearheaded by our very own Hon. Mayor Elmer Evangelio for the continued support to DepEd.

Together, Lingig II District and PDEA continue to stand firm in promoting discipline, awareness, and prevention for the welfare of every learner and personnel. đź’™

On February 9, Lingig II District, in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross, successfully conducted its first District-Wide CPR Caravan at Double R Salt Integrated Farm.

The activity aimed to equip participants with basic life-saving skills, particularly Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response techniques that can help save lives during critical situations.

This initiative highlights the district’s commitment to promoting safety, preparedness, and community resilience, ensuring that more individuals are empowered to respond effectively during emergencies.
