Behind every diploma lies a tapestry woven from years of perseverance, quiet tears, and an unshakeable belief in human potential. Today, these 24 graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Social Work stand at the threshold of a new dawn, ready to carry the torch of service into a world that needs their light.

They did not merely study social problems; they walked through them. From mastering complex social welfare policies to immersing themselves deep within grassroots communities, they learned to listen beyond words, feel beyond sympathy, and work toward sustainable healing. Through every demanding case study, grueling field assignment, and moment of self-doubt, their purpose only burned brighter.

Now, as they prepare to take their final step toward becoming Registered Social Workers (RSWs), they carry more than just knowledge. They carry the trust, dreams, and resilience of every family and community that opened their doors to them. They step forward not as distant policymakers, but as empathetic, grounded advocates ready to break generational barriers, restore dignity, and champion human rights.

The road ahead will call for courage, but these 24 hearts are steadfast, proven, and fully prepared to change the world—one life, one family, and one community at a time.

The Social Work Department of Pangasinan State University–Lingayen Campus proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of the distinguished candidates for graduation of Bachelor of Science in Social Work Batch 2026, who were formally recognized during the PSU Lingayen Campus Recognition Program held on July 16, 2026, at the DNTB Convention Hall.

The DSWD Tara, Basa Tutoring Program with the steadfast partnership of Pangasinan State University, Lingayen Campus, This milestone was made possible through the united support of our academic leaders—the Campus Executive Director of Lingayen, our University Vice Presidents, and our University President—together with the invaluable collaboration of the Province of Pangasinan PSWDO, DepEd SDO1, the Office of the Congressman of the 2nd District, and the LGU Lingayen MSWDO.

💙 Through this strong partnership, pupils, parents, families, communities, and teachers have been blessed with opportunities for growth, empowerment, and hope. Truly, this collaboration between government and academe has shown how collective effort can transform lives, strengthen communities, and inspire a brighter future.

Lubos na nagpapasalamat ang Tara, Basa! Program sa pakikipagtulungan ng Pangasinan State University - Lingayen Campus, sa youth partner-beneficiaries ng programa mula sa bayan ng Lingayen, Pangasinan na naghatid ng serbisyo sa bawat at pamilyang Pilipino. Ang PSU - Lingayen Campus, sa ilalim ng pamunuan ni University President Dr. Albert M. Galas, ay isa sa dalawang Lokal na Pamantasan sa Ilocos Region kung saan isinagawa ang implementasyon ng programa.

Sama-sama, patuloy tayong magsikap na paunlarin ang karunungan at pakikilahok ng bawat bata, kabataan, at mga magulang tungo sa pagbuo ng isang lipunang aktibong nakikibahagi sa iba’t ibang gawaing pang-komunidad.

Para sa ating partner-beneficiaries mula sa PSU - Lingayen Campus na nagsilbi bilang Tutors at Youth Development Workers (YDW), ikuwento n’yo naman sa comment section ang naging karanasan n’yo sa programa ngayong ikalawang taon ng implementasyon nito sa Pangasinan!
